I love Jan’s simple techniques! He has definitely inspired me to add some moss poles and see how much vertical growth I can accomplish with my houseplants. He gained a follow from me!
This was a fantastic podcast series. I recall decades ago when I was a kid my mom had a few houseplants that had a variation on these moss poles that her ivy-type plants would grow on.
Grower from Iceland here. I would say the homes here are very dry because we have cheap heating and outside is cold. There's like 3 or 4 months that we hardly get any light at least not enough for plants to grow. The springtime on Autumn the sun however go straight into our homes so we get some extra light in the home during the daytime and in summertime I would say it's very basic
