Hey, great video manual...I found a solution to both our problems about the SYNTRX II not matching up with MIDI and having to tune the oscillators all the way down just to get a midrange sound...the answer is in the Globals, which you get to by pressing the shift and the < patch buttons...you then use the left encoder to scroll down to the Global named M-NO (MIDI note offset)...then use the right encoder to get the offset you need (36 was perfect for all my controllers)...now it sits about perfect!...also, Inputs 1 and 2 are normalled to the Scope output, so you don't need to run a cable between them...cheers!
This has really helped me as I have not really had chance to get properly stuck into mine for months, so thank you for that. I did wonder if I would miss the spring reverb but it's good to know you can get this to sound like one anyway.
Great video, I found it really useful for getting started, thank you! I have just bought mine , I got it to go with the Perkons (a great pairing) When I first tried midi -ing them up I had an note offset problem the pitch was about 3 octaves higher , and I could not get it synced, so I tried the midi out from my mixer (roland mx1) and it worked perfectly, then I tried the midi out from the Perkons again and it was perfect , Sometimes midi settings are a little strange lol ...but thank you again for the great help
Hey Bro. I was on your I've Q&A with Geertz (how ever you spell it , sorry) and that live stream convinced me to buy one, so don't beat your self up on that live stream. it was great. It's good that you were the new guy. we are all that guy. so I just finished watching, and it took a few days , because I stopped and tested a lot of your instructions. There are a few things that are super deep level that the Syntrx can do, and last night I inserted some live kick/hat out of my Soma Labs Pulsar 23 and did some test. I wish I made a vid, I'll make one asap. I put it into IN port 2 and used it for CV and also just run it into the Syntrx reverb/delay, and It really takes it to another place, just doing that. . But ya, your vid was super helpful thanks for making it so I don't have to hahaha.
Fantastic! Your Black Sequencer video manual was a huge help to me and now this one too. Very cool. Is there anywhere you have your cheat sheets available for download. Either way, thanks for the great video. Cheers. :)
hey there, haven't watched the video yet (I will) but any reason why the headphone output sounds fine but output 1 & 2 sound crunchy distorted shitty and all the same even when swapping the preset? i tried turning all the knobs too, im not sure if i have some weird setting on, seems like it happens sometimes sometimes not
Just received it, does anybody know why my syntrix keeps making randon noises. ( speed depending on osc3 ). I Just want it to make sound when sequenced externally.

Engage sequencer: push SHIFT + GATE/SEQ
Play or stop sequence: push PATCH FORWARD button
Manual step advance: hold LEFT PATCH BUTTON and turn LEFT ENCODER
Change note octave on seq: push RIGHT ENCODER repeatedly to cycle through 3 octaves
