Love this video. I've slept outside like that when I was in the Army , stationed in Germany, years ago. The hardest part was climbing out of that warm sleeping bag.
I've had good luck doing this as well however I also use a gortex bivy for added comfort. The trees do a good job of keeping dew off in the Summer and frost/light snow in the winter. Our trees are Sitka Spruce.
It is a good idea to bring a bivy! During the night I was out, it started to snow and the snow drizzled in my face. Not the best way to get good sleep😊
@@kj-outdoors It's a good investment. I have the US Army issue bivy. It's heavy duty! I use it all the time. You can put your sleeping pad inside so it doesn't slide around
Hei Ørjan, og takk for hyggelig kommentar! Det er noe eget ved å sove ute i naturen, og spesielt når været er slik at du ikke trenger telt eller tarp for beskyttelse! Ønsker deg en fin dag og uke også!
All these videos are the same. Setting up camp, sleeping, etc. Just once, I'd like to see something interesting, like, maybe someone's face getting peeled clean off the skull by a bear or a Sasquatch or something. Now, THAT would be good viewing!
I watch camping videos a lot…curious…on whose property do these campers camp and also why don’t they bring a small chain saw as opposed to a hand saw…?? Would make things about a zillion times quicker and easier..??
I like these '' no talking, no showing your face the entire video, no showing me that you have beer'' videos best.
Thanks! That is my way of making videos😊
Unless of course it’s Steve Wallis 😊
@@gordonpobar-gk3kz I was just going to say that. Step 2
What a wonderful place to camp. Enjoyed watching it very much. Thanks. Have a great Sunday.
Thanks, Søren! Sleeping under a tree is a great experience as long the weather is good! Wish you a great Sunday as well!
Yes I agree
No tent, no tarp, just a sleeping bag under a spruse tree I could do that, good choice..👍❤
Love that sleeping bag too ❤
Thanks! The sleeping bag is very nice!
Brilliant

Don’t pay attention to the hater$. This is a beautiful video.
Cool video! I like that you didn't ramble on like all the other camping videos I see on here
Thanks a lot, Mike! I like to make the videos with natural sounds only. Meaning without, or very little talking.
Boy! You think like me. I would do the same thing. Hope you had fun. Im a 73 year old woman and love camping too.
Definately a fun experience to sleep under a tree! Good to hear you are doing camping as well! Age is just a number 🙂
That looks really comfortable. In the summer!😂
Outdoor camping in winter is also nice when you have the right equipment 🙂

That is not the purpose of this type of video but that is exactly why the world is fucked up too.
🍻, but I am not kidding.
Pathetic perspective…
I imagine it would not be too hard to find death and destruction other places, you should look elsewhere for it
@kathylarson8876 Naw. I want to see bigfoot eat some unsuspecting bushcrafter's face off. That would be rad!
@@davearonow65 You should camp more. Dream might come true!
@michaelrandall9034 I live in the woods. Camping is not a hobby for me. It's called every day life.
Camping under trees is not safe u have snow falling of the branches and the branches can also break.
True, you need to be carefull and watch the risks. In this case there were not much snow on the branches and the tree was healthy and no wind.
That’s why you carefully check out the tree you pick. Surrounding trees and the weather. 😊
