    the easy open pull cord is a nice touch but i'd use a button knot

      Yeah. The benefit of the button knot is that it increases the diameter of the line so the radius of the noose is increased. Static ropes, dynema especially, don't like tight bends.

    The small pull cord is too far down the main line to pull it out (open up the loop). Put it half this distance and it will open up the loop with ease.

    Hi, nice video, I'm just concerned if there is a chance for the knot to slip?

      It's a balanced knot. When it's made correctly it doesn't slip.

    Hi two questions. I have purchased from you in the past and enjoy your mobile app also. 1. What is the spec of the thin blue keeper line ? and 2. Those "dyneema" scissors. If they have steel blades, how do you keep them sharp ? I have a lot of trouble with sharpening scissors in general and cutting dyneema with dull scissors is not fun ! I bought scissors for dyneema but they quickly dull. My ceramic knife works well, but I understand they can dull also. Its a problem.

      The small blue line is a 1mm rope with a Dyneema core and polyester cover. The scissors have a special serrated blade. They can’t really be sharpened, but try to prevent to cut anything else then Dyneema ropes with the scissors.

    Hi, which is the strength of the soft shackle, referring on the strength of the simple rope? Same, more, less ? Thanks.

      We tested the softshackles and all of them were stronger than the
      breaking strength of the rope from which we made them (mostly >30%
      stronger)

    HI THANKS FOR THE VIDEOS. YOU SAY THAT FOR EACH EXTRA MM ADD 10CM LENGTH. WHAT LOOP SIZE WOULD YOU THEN SUGGEST FOR 5MM DYNEEMA AND 6MM DYNEMA?

    • @Premiumropes
      @Premiumropes  2 роки тому +2

      Hi, thanks for the compliment. For 5mm it would be 21cm & 6mm 24cm
