I am so appreciative to have these great interviews available to us. It was the Liszt that brought me into the world of Claudio Arrau and I can well remember hearing his 'Ville d'Este' and marveling. I saw him just once, in 1986 at Carnegie Hall playing Beethoven's 4th with the SF Symphony with Herbert Blomstedt conducting. David Dubal's interviews put me in that magical seat. My thanks!!
