- Cars, and specifically car theft, played a major role in the life of Charles Manson. And would become the primary source of funding for The Manson Family's lifestyle at their hideout, Spahn Ranch. Manson and his followers would go on to steal exotic Ferraris, to more practical Dune Buggys, and anything they could get their hands on. And it was these stolen cars that would eventually lead to the ultimate downfall of Manson and his followers. Today, we're taking a look at the car collection of Charles Manson and The Manson family. Let's begin.

Why bother when you can just steal another car?
@@grimrecords19 Hahahaha! Makes sense to me
Poor guy misunderstood😊😊😊
What a time. Crazy kids 🤪
So basically they had a collection of old beaters, plus stealing from the beach boys twice
too much horsepower for the tires of that era. The sport tires that we have nowadays outclass the best racing tires of the 60s and 70s.
The family was also in use of a Plymouth Road Runner according to Ed Sanders in his book.

The 41 wc power wagon is sweet
I could of bought one in 1985 for 400,00 .out of a wheat field in Walla Walla Wash. It was perfect and ran .

That dude just looks evil as hell.
He was pure evil.
Charles Manson the Scorpio boy was raised by religious black people.
Many of the Death Valley cars & vehicles including the school bus & some buggies ended up at county line auto junkyard near Trona, California where i remember they sat for decades being parted out piece by piece. I think they are likely all gone by now, likely scrapped what was left.
the guy that worked there looked a lot like Charles
Big time Charlie didn’t even have “the family” lift Sharron Tate’s Mustang, Abby Folger’s Firebird, or Jay Sebring’s Porsche! Some car thieves! They left in that ratty old ‘59 Ford!
If your gonna kill someone I think the last thing you would do is steal their car (unless you are trying to go jail) kinda ties you to the crime
@jonnysprojects6549 they weren't exactly professional or the smartest criminals though
She had a Ferrari.
Tate didn’t own a Mustang; it was a ‘67 Ferrari 275GTB4. She had backed it into her mother’s Corvair and it was in the shop. On the night of the murders, she had a yellow’69 Camaro she had rented.
@@cheaptricked actually the Camaro was Abigail folgers, and her boyfriend Voytek had a firebird.
Here's a clue for you jack, don't ever try that make a fast Getaway on an old Power Wagon LOL probably did about 38 fucking miles an hour
Jokes on you these did 70 mph..
Of course there's the Fiat of Bobby Beausoleil... it was the Hinman's car.
Atkins doing the one eye thing. Was she in the Illuminati.
Women aren't allowed in. Band of brothers. 👍🏻
Yeah that is kind of awful funny that she did that along with who they say experimented on Manson
There's one thing he'll never get behind the wheel 😅
Charlie is love
Uncle Charlie had great style
Interesting
?That's an old CB 175 Honda.
C.I.A. fluff
I was under the assumption Manson was released from jail, and then died, because I remember a big news article about him being released
He was never released

Sam Hyde??
They don't have mud in death valley
Actually, they do. Flash floods are common out there
Shame Charlie never drove a car he couldn't drive for crap he always had someone drive for him. 🤣
Charlie was a very skilled driver who drove the Family bus all over the west.
@@samsmith7585 No he had others drive it. He could barely walk straight 🤣
@@samsmith7585 I remember a few of his followers and even a few books written several of them stated Charlie couldn't drive a screw with a screwdriver. 🤣😂
@@samsmith7585 Skilled at coning driving not so much. 🤣
My aunt lived at the ranch with them, she said Charlie couldn't handle driving on the road. But she said he was a mad man in the sack, and hung like a horse. She said he would routinely service five or more ladies in a row.
Charlie don't surf !
Neither did MOST of the Beach Boys, as it turns out...
I think it was a different Charlie.

Ff event not real
Thought he died when he was let out
Charles manson was never released that animal stayed in prison where he belonged those animals that manson drugged up to do his dirty work were lost souls he fooled into believing his hogwash 😂😂😂
He was never let out......he rotted in the very prison he spent the majority of his miserable life in! He was quickly turned down for parole 12 times - a no brainer.
Manson died in prison no way he’d ever make parole
@@marty5782 - He was originally given the death penalty, but California abolished that so he was given life in prison. He came up for parole consideration 12 times but he was denied almost instantly each time.
@@Loulovesspeed yeah I know I can’t believe he lived so long. Squeaky frome made it out twice
Another MAGA guy.
