strong communities is what the world needs the most
Yes, I agree!
Sending prayers to all of you don’t forget the animals
Nice to see they're persevering as a community. I love how Americans, and all decent human beings, work together in times of crisis like this. Glad they've got their A/C and lights! From what I understand, Houston gets REALLY hot & muggy!

Community is everything. These are lessons all high rise apartments should learn from and prepare for scenarios like this
I moved out of a 14 story senior high rise in Michigan. Senior's understand preparing and what happens in a power outage. I think the biggest issue is the heat. There's no cross ventilation in apartments and they can feel like living in an oven if you cannot, at minimum, run a fan.
We Houstonians are a very resilient people who help one another in times of crisis.
Not without federal aid! Let's see how well you fair without it! 🤨

Gee, you’re a fun guy.
No more High Rises for the Elderly & Disabled. 🙏
Glad to see this.
People come together only so long as the resources last. Two days of empty bellies tell a different story.
No denying that climate.....
I lived in Texas, & normal weather. Depending on the area of Texas, summers above 100 degrees & too hot to go swimming. Flooding & Flash Floods common, because of terrains. Houston is near the Gulf Coast & Galveston, TX.
Abbott doesn't have time to deal with trivial stuff like power outages. He's got his hands full pardoning killers.
I am a Houstonian and let me say this: This area which is the Northwest part of Houston and Southeast part are ALWAYS flooded or affected by a storm every time it rains and power outages come with storms. I have lived on the other side of the north and have never experienced a flood, tornado or deadly storm just to give you context. Its not cruelty happening its a choice of where residence prefer to live and the consequences.
They need Uhauls to move out of Gilead-Texas
Texas has had a record number of people move here in the last 4 years the state cannot keep up with all the west coast refugees flooding in….more people = more energy
Not in reality! Texas wishes people would move there, so they could have more cult members! America is sickened by Texas.. That is a fact!
That's not it at all because just as many people are leaving Texas because of their disastrous leadership as are moving there. Your issue is separatism and corporate greed. Texas is the only state not on the national grid and funds going to the private utilities are used to fill the CEO's pockets instead of maintaining and upgrading your out of date decaying utility infrastructure. All states have people moving in and out of them with periods of higher population and a lot of them suffer through the same types of natural disasters yet only Texas has these prolonged power issues year after year, even when no disaster has occurred.
@@sheilamartin880All true, so it’s always surprising that citizens continue to vote in the same individuals.
Have donnie, Abbott and Cruz throw paper towels! It'll really help! 😒 But DO NOT ask for federal aide! The blue states are sick of picking your mess!
Abbott guaranteed this wouldn't happen...guess he's a big liar.
❤️🙏🏽❤️
Texas has a fragile power grid. Add that to their abortion stance, Uvalde, and having the worst border, I'm glad I can afford California!
Texas doesn't have a border. its The United States border in Texas number one and this year over 200,000 California residence have moved to Texas and its only May! For a Person from California who has the atrocious homeless crisis (Houston Is number one in homeless care for your information) while rich elites do nothing but live around it, its notorious for its prostitutions, daylight robberies and drug addictions are number one in the country, you as a Californian have zero credibility to judge my city in anyway.
Why are there so many California refugees moving to Texas if it’s so bad? 🤔
@@bigtoke5220Because they want to be in a larger number of cult members! Remember Waco? Let's see how well donnies cult of ignorant knuckle daggers do when the rubber meets the road! 🤨
@@bigtoke5220 there really isn't. But the main reason for the people that are moving is money. Texas is cheaper, like the store brand option in the grocery store.
What about using computers
