Don't you just love those happy little accidents?!
When you went in with the paper towel, it really softened the colors and made it look so pretty! It almost looks like pastels. It came our lively, Dea!

I really love the skies. I was doing cloud castle crayon piece with similar pallete, but I dropped it, because I doesn't have an extender for crayons and it's hard to use my old set at this point. Now I definitely want to finish it soon. Very inspiring!

OMG, I can't believe you managed to make it look so good at the end. If it was me, I would just cry and maybe throw the coloring page away so I couldn't see my failure. Hahahah. I guess this video gave me a lesson.

I was as shocked as you! 🤣 Right before I wiped it all off with the paper towel I figured it was history… And I grab the paper towel basically because I didn’t want to ruin my nice wooden table!

When we were kids, we color for the fun of it. I would not color in my Serene book , because I didn't want to screw up such beautiful artwork. Now, I just color for the joy of it, like the KID that I am.😊

I love using these. Because I am heavy handed, I always snap the regular crayons. They do have a true yellow, I cant remember which set it was. They also make a set that has neons and different effects. They are alot of fun!

I actually tried a background just like that with regular Crayola colored pencils. It turned out quite nice and intense.
I can't say as I like crayons in general...it's the smell, and fallout, lack of pigment to binders...yeah.
Have you tried the Twistable colored pencils? I do like them. Only one thing I don't like about them, once it's burnished, that's it. I haven't tried any solvents to see if that would make any difference though. I do like the few colors I have, and their smoothness.
It's great to see crayons giving a great result. Thank you for giving them a go.
    😙
    Mindy

I just bought these and will be using them tonight and I can't wait!!! I'm SO curious what will happen with them if I swipe/blend with a paper towel without any solvent, just the crayon. I'll also test out my colorless alcohol marker for blending and possibly nail polish remover. Though I think just the crayons on their own look so beautiful! Loved this video! 💕

Surprisingly I can get these in sets of 30 here. ( so why not the crayons??? ) Since you love to experiment, may I suggest you try a brand of hard pencils called Giotto. We can get their Stillnovo range. I bought the 36 colours and then found a set of 12 Skintones...fantastic selection of browns! They are hard enough to sharpen to a needle point but have an amazing amount of pigment in them. Great for small details.

Dea: according to the little time stamp this is 2 yrs.old. guess I'm a little late. It's a good thing my shades are closed. I talk back to videos while I'm watching. You asked if there was a bigger set. I answered, there's a 50ct. Then you looked it up and yes there's a 50ct. Then you said they felt a lot better than the standard crayons. Which is when I said to you" thank you so much! I thought it was just me that liked them better. I do enjoy your videos . Have you ever considered designing a mandala adult coloring book? Ooo how about 1 of each; 1 adult and 1 child? And I also have days when it's just plain great to color with twist up crayons.

Heya there, I just wanted to remind ya that I had experienced the Gray Crayola Twistable Crayon and I disliked how the gray is too light, its almost like a light silver but mainly it has less pigment so I was a little disappointed that Gray Twistable Crayola Crayon didn't actually had enough pigment but it is alright because it remedy that with the black twistable crayola crayon though I decided to send this little gray twistable pigment complaint to Crayola and they responded that they'll fix up that issue.

Did you get any idea how to use crayon shavings yet? I'm always reluctant to throw them away, so I save as much as I can, and gathered quite a beautiful pallet. Thanks to that video I remembered about this one little stash and now I'm musing over whether or not acrylic glue would work on them.

So do I personally like the pack myself? Well it is good especially how silky smooth those colours that I used except for the gray twistable, to me the yellow is a lovely hue but the gray is the crayon that I have the biggest gripe and disappointment with due to how little the pigment actually is or maybe the more obvious black and white colour mixing ratio in the gray itself. So I honestly like them to an extent but when I tried some out of the box DIYing via hair dryer to heat up the paper and colour on it using the gray one, it immediately felt crumbly and there wasn't much difference in the pigment while the others that I tried out have the same thing though some felt and seem like they didn't melt well and not nicely while some felt a little weirdly gooey and since they are less abundant from where I live and are more pricey too compared to the regular, more abundant, and much cheaper ones as well as there better DIYing melting capabilities, I'll stick with the regular crayola 24 crayons.
    PS: my other comment malfunctioned
