Ford dealer says it’s a 9.5 hour job, with parts it comes to just over $2000 CDN. The F150 is a 2015 3.5 eco boost
9.5 hours for a paraplegic in a wheelchair the lying pieces of feces
What state was this price quoted? Asking cause that’ll help me know how much it’ll be somewhere where the cost of living is cheaper like Alabama. God knows I can’t afford $2000 right now as my Dad just put his in the shop this week & 2 weeks before that was his other one. Today when mine started smoking like crazy the one he had previously had in the shop had something go wrong with the brakes. Lord why 3 trucks at one 1? 2 are Fords & I absolutely hate them both & know believe what I had heard about Fords before owning one.
Curious what the cost would be for this on a 2003 e350 box truck... ZERO mechanical prowess here. Thinking about purchasing a 16' box with this issue.
That's a good question. Price depends a lot on location and the Shop. I would ask that question to a Shop that you have in mind to work on it. Good luck with your purchase. 👍🏽
Good idea. I’m looking at one in TN but I live in Ohio. I’d have to get it fixed there. I’ll try to get more info from the seller and call around. Other than that potential cost it’s in great shape and has low miles. Thanks for the advice!
I just had the rear main seal replaced on my Econoline van and I drove it home and the engine is really vibrating more than it did when I took it in. Is there something they could have done incorrectly to make that happen?
It is possible that the Nuts that hold the Torque Converter to the Flywheel could be loose. Or the Bolts that supports the Transmission maybe loose. Also check the Drive Shaft bolts.
Hey. How much did it cost you to get it done? And is it all good now?
