To work out why my audio was only recording on the right hand side even though I had selected stereo I didn't realize that it meant one mic was doing 1 side and 1 mic was doing the other side.I should have actually been doing mono as use explain great video thank you very much

Here's a work-around that I figured out today; I broke the USBc phone adapter because the 90-degree connection is pretty wonky and fragile (my phone took a literal 4" fall from my hands to the table and it broke). So I went to the local camera shop and bought a 3.5mm male to USBc cable. I connected the receiver to the iPhone 16 and it worked perfectly. The only thing you lose is the 3.5mm jack for headphones. But, with a splitter you can have both...

It took me a long time to realize I don't need the Rx for my action 4, I was confused about the blue and green light connection. and connected my action 4 with the Rx green light will make the mic setting greyed out and not showing on the mimo app. It all happened before I saw your video 😅. Mimo app mic setting only show up when plug in phone or other brand camera i think. 🙈
Please advise -> This another option then to buying the DJI Mic 2 Wireless Microphone (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case) .

When the TX are connected to the RX the lights are solid yellow, not green.
it's green, but it can be yellow depending if NR is on.
@@OttoJulian_ Thanks, just looks like at around 3:45 the first light on the RX is yellow. Mine is and was so straight out of the box, I never altered or enabled/disabled and NR features.

The mic pairs with my iphone 16 seamlessly ... BUT ... 1) does NOT capture audio with the native camera but it does with my MOVIE PRO app and 2) it will not start RECORD when i press the LINK button like you shared in your video. What am I doing wrong??

You need both the receiver and the transmitter
I think it's a handy system but a problem for me is the latency cause that is a big issue . latency of 24 ms compared to rode wireless go 4 to 6 ms
I hope they will improve this in the future but the predecessor s have it to.
I am with this unfortunate forced always to sync it in post especially working with more mics.

I updated the RX but now if I connect the RX with the USC-C adapter to the phone I see it, otherwise via Bluetooth I can't connect it (I don't see it from the Mimo APP), DJI told me that if there is no update the receiver It's not seen but it seems strange to me. Is it possible for you to connect it via Bluetooth to your phone to set the various parameters? Another UA-camr told me to reset it, but how do you do it? A thousand thanks. (PS: the receiver can be seen on Bluetooth after a fraction of a second and in any case the receiver works well with no problems).
So I have my device on my pixel 9 pro updated. I had to download the app through the chrome. Web but when I have the transmitter connected to the phone it doesn't record with the mics. I'm trying to figure out how to get it to work

As someone who typically balls on a budget I got the just the mic mini at 60 usd but it came with no transmitter or whatever so now I’m wondering if it will even connect to my phone without it.
yeah no receiver, but it should be able to connect to your phone, via bluetooth
@ it connects very easily to the Osmo action 4 almost automatically now
Just with the Bluetooth and it works great. Even though it does connect to my phone via Bluetooth, you will still however need to have the transmitter connected in order to use the mic with the phone. Idk y it allows you to connect to the phone if it doesn’t actually do anything without it.

No. They work for Android. You need to Download the latest Mimo app directly from the DJI website.

couldn't be paired with some insta360 and android smartphone so poor audio quality 8000Hz mono, returned.
not all cameras from insta360 are going to pair. Interesting about your 8kHz

Twenty Days having the DJI Mic Mini and the Charging case failed. And $19 USD for a Lightening adapter is insane. It should be included. I don't recommend the product.
@@Flight259 iPhones selling the power brick and not including them is ok for you? Lightening connectors are being used less, agreed they should charge less but that connector is old tech that I’m glad Apple stepped up to finally change it. Forced or not
