At 08:30 minutes you mention if you have the audio lead plugged into your camera and you turn the camera on it will automatically turn on the receiver, however the toggle switch in the Mimo App says when toggled on the Mic and camera will be simultaneously powered on or off. So is it the Mic or Receiver which automatically turns on or is it both devices? 👍

Man, now I just have to figure out why my reciever options wont show up! I really want to have the mics record in stereo, but every time I connect the reciever via USB or BT it just shows me the option to use as mic or open settings and then closes the window once i select settings.. EDIT: Turns out it works once you take all 3 out of the charging station!

I just received my Mic Mini today but I noticed that while using both Tx and Rx on my Android phone via USB, the audio is waaaay better sounding when compared to directly hooking up Tx and Rx to my computer via USB. I didn't change the location of the mic. It just sounds worse and also a lot quieter. So I turned up the gain to the max, but still it's pretty quiet. I'll tinker with it some more tomorrow, already performed the firmware update to rule out any possible issues. But I'm starting to wonder if the mic will be fit for the purpose for which I bought it which is recording audio while making screen recordings where I explain how certain 3D design software works. The audio also sounds very bass heavy when recorded through my computer, as if the receiver is equalizing the audio differently. Did you happen to use the Mic Mini via your computer directly? Your voice sounds really good in this video, I know it's the Mic 2 that you're using, but still, even with equalizing in DaVinci Resolve 19, I haven't been able to get the audio quality that I expect from this microphone through my computer.
Hi Jason, do you know if the basic/ strong noise cancellation setting is passed onto the transmitters when they aren't being used with the receiver? Like with the Pocket 3 for example. I had basic selected with the RX but when I went to use them with that I had strong noise reduction with the Action 5. Have you had the same?
thank you I get that the DJI mic 2 has everything on the touchscreen and the mini on the app, if I forget my phone I am out of adjustments, so the Mini has two added options, 1. Clipping and Noise canceling levels, I wished they put a gain bar on there then a green led thanks for getting straight to the point and end was abrumpt

I have registered my dji mic mini set online but no matter what I do I cannot get it so show up on the device manager. Not even when it's connected directly to the phone. I also have a constant static on the recording, on my phone and my Sony A7rii. Do you have a solution for this or is there something wrong with my set?
I bought the same one 2 days ago however I cannot make the app work on my phone. I cannot make two headphones work at the same time, as a stereo too 😢. I watched so many videos but I gave up today. Tomorrow I’m gonna send it back and request a refund.. Probably I’ll buy a Rose...Something wrong this DJI mini mic set.. I dont have time to find a solution for this shit

What I don't get is that in the settings, you can switch the noise cancellation from low to high in the receiver section. I’m confused about the transmitter and the 1TX 1RX option. I primarily want to use the mic for motovlogging and some scenery vlogging. Which option should I choose, and what’s the difference between the two?
2 TX kit means you can record 2 sound sources at the same time - if you only need to record one thing at a time a single TX is fine. If you wanted to use one TX for bike noise and one TX for you talking at the same time you would need 2 TX - I haven't done any motovlogging so I don't know how it would all sound though! :) :)

Hi. Very good microphone, but it is a shame that it causes interference in the audio channel recorded on a SONY FX3 using the audio system that this camera has. Channel 1 RODE cannon mic, channel 2 DJI mic mini... Channel 1 gets horrible interference. Channel 2 everything ok. Moving the receiver further away from the DJI solves the problem, but it shouldn't. NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THIS?
Why the hell didn't they just make a smaller version of the mic 2. This is useless. You at least need independent level control between transmitters. It's the transmitter level that is too high not the receiver. Yes it's a budget option but it is half baked. If they are going to sell single transmitters, at least make them to link to the mic 2 receiver and they will sell a lot more single units.

I had same issue. Downloaded Blackmagic camera(which is pretty cool too) and connected via BT to the mic. Recorded audio perfectly.
