the ice water trick actually doesn't work because nail polishes dry when the solvents in the polish evaporate, and when you put your nails into water that prevents the solvents from evaporating. all it does is harden the outer layer, so your polish will still dent and smudge
I know right I done I painted my nails right after that I stuck them in a bowl of ice with cold water for like an hour when I took him out I tried to dry them off and they just came right off
what I love most about cutepolish videos is that they are short and to the point, it doesn't take her 15 minutes to do her videos and she always keeps them fun and exciting.
I'm so amazed by the cooking spray! I'm doing a nail design with tape and I'm being impatient so I tried it and I can't believe it! I didn't even use Pam, I used Kirkland brand!
I think the air bubbles happen because you're putting the polish on too quickly, give your coats more time to dry before putting another on, and dont glop it all on in one go, it will dry faster than the bubbles can escape.
Master Arrow i suggest just sitting it out and being patient to let it dry as well. just set aside like an hour watch a movie or something after you paint your nails.
I always watch UA-cam on my iPad after I've painted my nails. And while watching I'm waving my hands back and forth to speed up a little bit. It is not a fast way of drying, but the time always seem to go by fast while being on UA-cam haha! ;P
Your nails dry instantly if you do all that the same time! 1. Top Coat 2. OPI Dry Stuff 3.Cooking Spray 4. Ice Water 5. Hair Dryer on Cold 6. This is sarcasm but hey if you wanna try it go for it
I'm a straight guy that paints his nails. I usually get my gf to paint them for me. I don't understand why people believe nail polish is for women only when actually it started thousands of years ago with men. It wasn't until the 1800s when French women would paint their nails to show cleanliness that women took over the whole thing.
that story is about high heels not nail polish! nail polish wasn't around thousands years ago hello? you don't need to make up some bullshit story just to justify doing something that's not harmful, you do you
Do not blow on them! I dont know why people do this! Your nails get wetter from the dampness and spit in your breah, and the heat will soften them. Do not blow on them!
thankyou for the cold water method :) you saved me AGES i had to have a shower and the nailpolish went sort of soft.....but i saved them by putting hem into really cold water....one of my hands are freezing but it was worth it THANKS AGAIN
I love these ideas and I've just ordered some of the opi drip dry it I guess till it comes I'll have to use a hairdryer lol but the cold setting not the hot lol your a life saver I always smudge my nails after I've spent ages on them.
I accually JUST bought some nail polish. I picked up some 'Icing Drip Dry Polish' So, I havent tried it out yet, but I was gonna just about now do the Pastel Penguins. :)
sometimes my nail polish dries in 5mins. sometimes 10 hours /:
samw
and sometimes never
ikr.samr
And there is no in between lol
if it takes 10 hours you must have bought really cheap nail polish.
the ice water trick actually doesn't work because nail polishes dry when the solvents in the polish evaporate, and when you put your nails into water that prevents the solvents from evaporating. all it does is harden the outer layer, so your polish will still dent and smudge
Yeah I got my fingers cold from it and doesn't even work
+Katie Guenthner yeah same
I know right I done I painted my nails right after that I stuck them in a bowl of ice with cold water for like an hour when I took him out I tried to dry them off and they just came right off

My nails NEVER dry 😓
Neither do mine it's sooo annoying 😠

try using thinner coats.
just wait for 1-2 hours.
I tried the ice cold water one and it smudged my nails
same
right its like i touch it softly and it feels dry then u try to grab somthing then u smuge your nails it makes me sooooo mad X(
it's the badest idea
It only hardens the top part. I really don't recommend it.
Agree.😔
My way of drying my nails fast is to wave my arms around to catch cold air
I blow dry my nails with hair blower. it works XD

Sukiriri I can't or else hair gets in it
Who else watching this while painting their nails??
yep
OMG ME!!!
+Helen Guepa meeee!!
#naillife 😇👌👍
Me too!!!
I always get bored waiting for my nails to get dry, it feels like it take hrs not even kidding lol
ik
I've learned using expensive nail polish helps cut down dry time A LOT. Essie, OPI, Butter London and Ella & mila are good
What are you talking about, some Essies take hours and hours. I have at least a dozen of their colors and dry time is all over the place.
i’m so late ik but essie mint candy apple takes at least 30+ min to dry it’s hell
what I love most about cutepolish videos is that they are short and to the point, it doesn't take her 15 minutes to do her videos and she always keeps them fun and exciting.
1:10 can't wait to cook something on my fingers.
😂😂
Haha 😂
What flavor is it? 😁
Pagalia ,battmez
I'm so amazed by the cooking spray! I'm doing a nail design with tape and I'm being impatient so I tried it and I can't believe it! I didn't even use Pam, I used Kirkland brand!
The tip with the cooking spray has changed my life FOREVER! I camnot believe how well it workes!! Thank sooo much!
Videos call "5 ways to dry your nails FAST".. Not instant -_- why is there so much complaining?
She means that this will dry your nails faster, not that the video is faster.
Cool down..
+Maudx she's talking about other people, they complain that it's not working instantly and the video days fast, not instant
Five different ways to quickly dry your mani!

when you put ur nails in the cold water with ice . do you wait a min after ur get finished painting them or do u put them in right after painting them
OMG... I just paintedmy bait and I thought that I should use one of your tips
Who else is watching this because they just painted their nails and most likely wrecked them so u have to keep adding coats 😂
BHAHAHAHA me
Lmao literally me 😂
I never related so much to a comment
I literally watched a movie, then touched something at the end, expecting it to dry, AND IT WAS STILL NOT FKING DRY BRUH
THIS IS SO SO SO AWSOME BUT IT WAS FAKE SHE AREDY HAD HER NAILS DONE OMG IM SO MAD
yea but they still work anyways

🙄🤦♀️
You don't have to use Pam, any oil will do! I personally use olive or coconut oil, helps to moisturize your cuticles, too. =)
The drying spray from Avon is amazing!! I love it
The first one is my favorite I tried it once and it worked so well
I love the coulor you have on your nails
I have used the cold water technique a few times & it seemed to work pretty well .
Can you come up with a vid that explains how to avoid your nail polish and top coat from creating air bubbles in it.
I think the air bubbles happen because you're putting the polish on too quickly, give your coats more time to dry before putting another on, and dont glop it all on in one go, it will dry faster than the bubbles can escape.
palebite Thank you. I will try this. :)
yamine2515 also dont shake your bottle too much, it creats airbubbles just roll it between both hands to warm it up
What about how to stop it from grouping and chiping right after 3 minutes or using your hands?
Master Arrow i suggest just sitting it out and being patient to let it dry as well. just set aside like an hour watch a movie or something after you paint your nails.
I always watch UA-cam on my iPad after I've painted my nails. And while watching I'm waving my hands back and forth to speed up a little bit. It is not a fast way of drying, but the time always seem to go by fast while being on UA-cam haha! ;P

IF ANYONE IS WONDERING YOU LEAVE YOUR NAILS IN THE WATER FOR ABOUT 1-2 MIN! Your welcome :)
But do you put your hand in there when ur nails are wet or semi dry?
Either one works Domokrush
You can put them in right away.
It works but it also freezes your fingers off. XD

Do you need Pam cooking spray or just cooking spray
Just Cooking Spray ! lol

the up & up nail polish drying spray works great! its only 3 bucks at target and you get a huge bottle
my nails are wet right now
The water with ice works for me on 1 minute!
I would just like to say the ice water does dry your nails fast, but it causes water to sink under the polish and it will prevent your nail art from
Staying on lol i got cut off
