Awesome vid, I’ve used 550 cord weaves to silence gear, build gun slings, etc…just recently saw the sling a ling, but that is a steep price. I found this vid looking for reviews haha. Will be making one this offseason, thanks!
Thanks. Yeah, i feel like the price that some charge is a bit steep and feel like it's pretty easy to do yourself. I'm glad it helps and good luck. Thanks for watching.
Even though you’re a Yankee I subscribed. I kid of course. Thanks for the video. This will give me and my son something to do together that he’d be proud and happy to help me make. Thanks again.
You are such a legend thank you for this video If you want a 1 m sling you will need you two core string to be 1m between knots and side cords to be 5 m It’s a 1:5 ration per feet 1ft = 304 mm hope this helps 1 Hope this helps
I attach a carabineer to each end of the sling and clip it to the cam I personally think it's easier compared to keeping it on the bow while I'm shooting it. While I'm hunting I clip the sling to the stand so it doesn't fall.
Looks good man. Now that takes alot of patience lol. Glad to see your going to the R100 it’s not in WVA till September. I seen the same review on the magnet bow sling. Don’t remember the name
Excited for the R100. I've never even heard of it until you mentioned it. I wanted to go to TAC but it is 4 1/2 hrs away an on a weekend i am busy. The R100 is 1hr away and looks pretty cool. Can't wait.
Thanks so much for watching. I taped the magnet in place with electrical tape and then put a second cobra weave knot over the entire area where the magnet is.
At the 2:45 mark in the video, i talk about the core length. I made the loop length 40 inches- so about 8 feet for the core. Then at the 4:00 mark in the video i talk about the outer weave. You will need 5 feet of each color for every 1 foot of sling length (about 15 feet of each color). Hopefully this helps and thanks for watching.
@@j.r.outdoors247 Oh, thanks for your answer, i need to try it at home. Im deaf so i couldnt hear it. And auto translate is very bad. Thanks for your answer.
I had a hole in my riser in that area. The magnet already had a hole in it so i ran a bolt through it and put a large washer and nut on the back side of the riser.
Honestly i would charge too much. A buddy of mine did a review of someone that makes and sells them. He makes a great product at a great price. Here is a link to the video. ua-cam.com/video/OjOnLaQAs8Q/v-deo.html
Yes, i never claimed that this was my idea. I even mentioned at 0:55 that someone else makes a sling with the magnet. A parachord sling is not something new and I'm not making these things to sell. Just simply showing how i made mine. Thanks for watching.
@@j.r.outdoors247 exactly best to copy someone for a third of the price than to make someone else rich!! Where can you find the magnets used for doing those?

Nice looking sling. Always gratifying to make something yourself. I used the cobra weave on my aiders👍
Right on. I just did a 3 chord braid for my aiders. Mainly because i was lazy. But the cobra weave is pretty easy once you get it down.

I appreciate the sub. Hopefully you guys have success in building the slings and have a good time building them together. Thanks.
That's a cool system!! Probably could help me learn to French brade my daughters hair for them as well !! 🤣🤣. You're a DIY beast! Love the videos!
That's a great idea. she may never have to braid her hair again if you use the cobra weave.
Thanks!
Nice sling, will be doing this soon. Enjoying your camera arm you made me too👍
Thanks, it definitely comes in handy.
I hope the arm helps you film some great memories.

I took allot from that video and made my own
Awesome, glad i could help. Thanks for watching.
First thing I noticed was the MGO hat 💪🏻
Yes, he has a great channel. Thanks for watching.
Thankyou
Absolutely, thanks for watching.

I agree. I ended up modifying it and added a couple small disconnects to it so i can take it off. Thanks for watching.

@@j.r.outdoors247 im going to go on the first day” Friday” and attempt to shoot all 100 in 1 day my wife is going along to record it
That's a long day. I am going to break it up into 2 days. Our shoot is in August and i'll be self filming.
Great video, but can you please show us how you finished the end of the sling to incorporate the loop with the diamond knot?
Thanks for the feedback. I will try to put out another video that may help explain it better. Thanks for following along.
Maybe I missed it. How much cord did you leave for the top loop and for the bottom diamond knot?
I left a 6-8 loop at one end to loop through the riser. Then left about a 1 1/2"-2 loop on the other end to loop the diamond knot through.
Hi! Nice video! What type/size of bolt did you use? And where did you get the magnet? Thanks! :)
Thanks, I used a 1/4-20 bolt and I already had the magnet sitting around. Wish i had more info for you. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Thank you. How did you weave the magnet into the sling core?
Thanks so much for watching. I taped the magnet in place with electrical tape and then put a second cobra weave knot over the entire area where the magnet is.
how did you do the diamond knot at the end? going to make one of these for my bow, awesome video. thank you!
Here is the video that i watched to tie the diamond knot. Hopefully this helps. Thanks for watching!

How did you make the magnet bolt on riser portion?
I had a hole in my riser in that area. The magnet already had a hole in it so i ran a bolt through it and put a large washer and nut on the back side of the riser.
How was it that you incorporated the magnet?
I electric taped it over the cobra weave, then made an additional weave over that area.
Thanks!
How much will you charge to make me 1
