    Tip:
    Instead of capturing the factor on the first curve, capture the length. This gives a consistent result, independent of the length of the curve.

    Hi, im using this exact setup in blender 4.2, however it is not working. Any tips why?

    when I made this node group a while back, I had the same problem with the textures not tiling correctly... turns out that if you use the TRIM CURVE node on the profile curve, you can clip it so that the factor or length are read correctly.

    Will this work with your procedural tree setup video you made? I am trying to figure out how to best setup the attribute with the trunk and branches having different profile curve nodes.

      Actually I was able to get it working. But for some reason does not work in Cycles, however does work in Eevee

    If using an arc or spiral for the profile curve on Curve to Mesh, the end caps then disappear. Is this because end caps require a closed curve?

      Yeah, "fill caps" won't work, but you can instance some circle meshes at the endpoints of the curve.

      @@100drips Actually I found that setting Set Spline Cyclic on the Arc or Spiral before it goes into Curve To Mesh allows caps to appear. They are not perfectly UVed at all, but at smaller visible sizes it wouldn't matter. For larger sizes, your suggestion will be better.
