So I am an RN. I wear shoes with wide toe boxes and for the last month I have been wearing a silicone sheild that encapsulates my 2 smallest toes and covers the bunionet. My small toe does not appear to be drastically crooked and I have always had straight toes and healthy feet. I have had this about a year. The swelling has diminished but is still there. My question is will this go away or is surgery the only thing that will make my foot care free again?
Thanks so much for making this! Always wondered how my feet changed to be like this. I used to walk 10-20km a day in really tight skinny sport shoes, oops 😢
Does this cause pain in bottom of foot in the fifth metatarsal? The head of my fifth metatarsal is very sore on the bottom of my foot in my fifth metatarsal. I have tailors bunion
Hi Rion, I have a question. During running ~10/15 mins I start to experience bilateral pins and needles in the sole of my feet and numbness and tightness in the calves also. With addition of shin pads around the calves this onset occurs quicker. I have overpronated feet and a flat arch, I have very limited dorsi and plantar flexion. I have checked to see if it’s a facet or disk problem which I believe it isn’t especially as shin pads decrease onset time, so am wondering does this sound like chronic compartment syndrome or is this just a case where my gastro and soleus are too tight and is causing these underling issues. Also another factor is that cycling will not cause these symptoms only running. Many thanks.
It seems so strange to me that a lot of podiatrists talk about flexible feet as if it was a main cause of feet problems, but they never mention Ehlers Danlos syndromes or the Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders...
i have this and it hurts so bad omg
I'm so sorry to hear that.
The best video about bunionette I have ever seen

While I do have TERRIBLE feet, I happen to not have bunions. Looking forward to performing the bunionectomies though.
Gracias! Excelente video...explicado de una manera sencilla...👍

I hate my podiatrists hers in Oregon. I’ve seen at least a dozen. I keep pointing to this area and they keep ignoring me
We'd be happy to see you here!
@@RionBergDPM can’t afford it if I can’t use my providence connect plan
