She'swon just about every Award going - across multiple genres, and deservedly so. Great Cover. Enjoy exploring more. (Hi from Tasmania ❤) # BTW...Have you checked out the great Guy Sebastian also? If not - suggest you start with his "Standing With You". 😊
She rips your heart out and the move from despair and frustration to raging triumph ❤🤯🔥🔥🔥. She shreds on that poor banjo. I never get tired of hearing this. It blows me away every time. Great reaction everyone. I love seeing the shock when the lights come up on the band b
Great compilation. Cheers to Eminem and Kasey for this tune. The original has always felt like a song to lift you up, when you're at your lowest against the world. Kasey's portrayal takes you through all the hurt and pain, and my goodness, you feel all that in spades. It's a masterpiece of a cover if you ask me.
While the rest of us were getting angry and frustrated during lock down, Kasey was writing the music and the arrangement for this song. Guess who gets all the points for productive time use 🤪 😊
Proud of you Kasey and your interpretation of this phenomenal wordsmith's song. All that dust has got into your soul girl. Love from another Australian
I have lost entire days watching reactions to this incredible song and had to train my eyes on the reactors and not the performance thankyou so much for this I now only lose 15 mins a day.
Mate ❤x1000 Your first Kasey supercut I watch if not every day, every other day. First time i saw Kasey perform with her family, she was 10 and I was 12. In a little old theatre in a small country town in South Australia and every year after that until i hit 17/18. I like a couple of her songs but i love love her Em cover. To see her now in our twilight years, (i turned 50 this year) the only difference is a few grey hairs and character lines and life experience. I admire and respect her immensely. Mate the respect you have shown her is awesome. thank you.
Wow, wow, wow! Amazing editing! You are a master to synch so many reactions so perfectly AND get the volume so consistent. This is the best editing I've seen since Part 1 of this song. So good.
@@johnallsopp6324Thanks. And I was almost pulling hair from my bald head when I was editing one particular reaction video's audio for two hours because the transition sounded so shit when I uploaded the test clip to UA-cam.

Your edit is excellent in that at no point do you loose the reactions or anything of the the real buisness here the performance ....they add they dont distract and they are totaly genuine.. like the Artists. 🔥💥✨🧙🏼♂️

I am so happily surprised to see this compilation in my feed! I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful compilation. Thank you. You have done an amazing job!
After 25 years in the business, she has faced many of the same challenges and emotions that Em spoke of in his rap. That's why she could express it so well.
@@kymdalton7277 no. It is her dad on slide but Nash doesn't play with the band.....the harmonizing guitarist is longtime band member (& partner) Brandon Dodd.
So enjoyed this compilation of reactors....I have seen all of them lol. Eminem released this many years ago and for me it was powerful but it was more like a 'punch in the face' lol Whereas Kasey took us to the emotional side of his tragic early life and we felt all his angst and pain. But then she released the anger and frustration at the end with her brilliant band and we were all taken on such a ride. Kasey did Eminem's song proud I hope he's seen it. Kasey has had her own share of 'pain' trying to get her music out there as well, so she would understand his pain. Hi from Australia
Yeah, this performance blows everyone away....and rightly so. It's just brilliant and so emotional. Just crazy good. This is a performance that those who were there will proudly recall in future years and say "I was there that night in Newcastle". Truly lucky bastards!
I'm embarrassed, as an Australian I knew Kasey as a talented country singer. But since its not my genre of music I had no idea how freaking amazing she can sing

That was great, thanks for putting it together. Yep that performance has jumped to the top of "concerts that I wish I'd gone to". Loved your reactions, I've watched it a gazillion times now, exhilarating. I hope Tracy's people make sure she sees it. Tracey Chapman is a hardworking, touring artist, started performing with her musical family as a youngster. I'm looking forward to seeing her and her band live early next year in Australia.
I've lived in Australia all my adult life and only knew Casey for "Pretty Enough" before this as it's not my kind of music. But when I heard this, it was just totally off-the-scale. The intensity, the different view. Masterpiece is one word that comes to mind. The other one I can't say on YT.
Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower Cash - Hurt Disturbed - Sound of Silence And now, out of nowhere, add Chambers - Lose Yourself As some of, if not THE, greatest covers of all time. For me personally, it's rare a cover is so good, that it challenges the greatness of the original. These are close to, if not better than (in Hendrix case his AAtW is better than Dylan's) the originals.
Fabulous voice aside?... her version was at a tempo to let her highlight the raw impact of the lyrics that are in this song, something that Eminem's bar-spitting style just couldn't do - his presented these heartfelt/personal/intimate words, hers shouted every emotion the words carry. The build up to having the whole band bring it home, like a movie score. Not everyone gonna like it, but props for the work gone into making you feel the person in the song.

If you are going to do a cover of any song, you have got to make it your own…Kasey and her band have done an epic cover that is in my opinion way better than the Eminem original. Each phase of the song took it up a notch until we were at No11, the band was so tight…still got goosebumps. Who was the female reactor with the bluey/ greenish dress and pink earphones ??? I've watched lots from the other reactors but don't think I recognise her?
Appalling. The whole rythym beat from the bass and drum is lost. Its what carries the riff. The lines of lyrics are not even the same. Eminem wont get writers royalties to buy a whopper with that. And i think tgats a good thing. She doesnt get what she ruined.
