A tip I've been trying to make better use of recently is to slinger burst to reposition in axe mode. You can turn any direction after an axe attack by slinger bursting. It gives you the dash slam or Element Discharge 2 (double sweep phial attack) as follow ups. It's really helpful if you miss the approach and want to keep the combo going. Really good fight tho. I'm so happy to see you play Charge Blade. It's my favourite weapon and i hope you can see why after the near instant topples :D
1:35, barely hitted alatreon and the elemental check is already reached, man, strongarm ice is really busted, lol. Your alatreon gameplay is top, really wanna see how your cb gameplay improves with this challenge!!
kjarr ice cb is possibly the strongest ice weapon in the entire game its not even funny
@mh_frieren I'd argue it's extremely funny. Literally the second axe attack (first with Savage Axe buff) and it just falls over

It's disgusting and funny as hell, lol.
CB used to be my main and the weapon I first solo Alatreon with before converting to SnS religion that is. Savage Axe eat through sharpness like crazy without 4pcs fatalis or sharpness management but it is also extremely comfortable with Guard point.

pro tip. You can use the shield to block :) Especially when charged it is quite effective. This might seem sarcastic :)
didnt slot in guard cause the build is kinda tight as it is
@@mh_friereneven without Guard skills, it's pretty good in a pinch. It's not my first option on a Savage Axe build, since evasion is more accessible anyway but guardpoints and shield charge give either two or four levels of guard total. It'll mitigate a lot of damage when you're uncertain about dodges. Plus, hitting guardpoints does gives a phial burst so free damage.

@@mh_frierenwell you killed it faster than my last run by about 4 minutes. Same weapon and fairly similar build. I've been using Charge Blade for around 900 hours. Well done but also god damn it.
