I love the fact they were asked by the bbc not to swear for this performance and Corey tried and when it got to this song he just gave up on it
haha.. it's fucking disasterpiece.. how not to say fuck you all like 1000 times.. haha
He should've used "bloody" more... Really triggers the British. XD
@@michaelangeloh.5383 it really doesn't
BBC probably shouldn't have asked them to sing their most explicit song lol
@@michaelangeloh.5383 No it doesn't lmao
THIS SONG IS CRAZY AS HELL TO PLAY ON DRUMS
With gun drums it sure is lmao
haha it would be nice to see you playing it on your guns XD
But its soooooo fun lol
I bet
MAKE IT HAPPEN
If this is your first time watching and hearing Slipknot you wouldn't believe that these guys are in their 40s or maybe some in their 50s. God damn they're amazing they're killing it I love them so much and its killing me that I live in the middle east which is a place I don't think ever that they'll come to lol
Yeah me too buddy, good thing we have youtube 😂
@@syx5455 where are you from?
@@abeeer666 I'm from Iran
Jay is in his 20's though

Sid's energy is always something that puts a smile on my face, one my favourites in the group for sure.
Same i love him
Hes got some strange energy to him. But i like that
This song makes me wanna cross the road without holding my mum's hand
This song makes me want to tell my parents they're adopted
4:10 The way Jim’s lead guitar part matches Corey’s vocals is my new favourite thing
Yep, was about to comment the exact same thing! Man Jim's a god!
Jim’s so sick
This song just isn't the same without Sid jumping off a roof or some shit.
This song is not the same, with people going fucking nuts in the crowd.
Because he not young . I mean all slipknot not young like 2000-2009 big headbang.
Crowds look dead at slipknot gigs not like early 00s
NO LOVE wut
One of the greatest songs ever created by Slipknot
We want more, BBC!!!!! WE NEED TO BE CRAZY AGAIN!!
Lamb of God next ... I hope
no water mark HAHAHAHAHA
no water mark fucking same haha like you sure about this?
Go search Blacked if you want to go extreme crazy
LOOOOOOL do you like big blac... co...?
4:50 when you don’t wanna get outta bed in the morning but wanna head bang to slipknot
*TORTILLA MAN*
that's a stolen joke form another video
Jord from the same person
DanVrse ewww evenworse
I love Jim's guitar harmonies at 4:04, gives the section a whole different feel
*harmonics, not harmonies.
@@AyaanMurad but the harmonics are forming harmonies while being played so... stop b*tch*ng about it
This is undeniable. I have a great appreciation for Mick; however, Jim Root is notably different. He excels in the harmonic aspect. Not that he is better than Mick; both are monsters. But in every live performance, Jim always adds something unique, giving a fresh feel to the songs. That captivates me a lot.
Psycosocial,Devil in I,disasterpiece
IM GONNA HEADBANG ALL NIGHT

I saw them back in 2009 and I was in the front row leaning on the fence. I don't know what was distracting me but out of nowhere, Clown was on the fence, basically on top of me. So, I did the most logical thing I could think of at the time. I rubbed his belly.
@@itsfine5818 - You did the right thing.
I’m so happy this band exists
You can tell the band still loves the fuck out of playing this song. Corey has stated it's his favorite of course, but the rest of the band still goes apeshit for it as well (Clown and Sid especially). For a song that's almost 20 years old, to still have that level of intensity and brutality playing it is impressive. You know that's when a band really loves what they do and they know they wrote a fucking awesome track. Disasterpiece is still, IMO, Slipknot's best work.
Plus the energy of the newer guys is infectious as well. Jay murders the drums on this song (and it's a hard as shit song to play) and Pfaff has totally embraced his role as Tortilla Man and proved to be a worthy replacement for Fehn.
I’m miss Chris but I’m definitely getting used to tortilla man🤘🤘🤘But I definitely like Joey better than jay. Then again he is still a great drummer
Love me some pfaff but no one can replace chris

This is a really hard song to sing. It almost never sounds like it does on the album.
I had a thought since I've been seeing these Slipknot on a TV show showing off what they do and what music they make. I thought. Dude..could Metal make a comeback! Like Hip Hop and Pop and Rap are probably the biggest genres rn but I keep seeing these Metal and Rock shows on these Television Programs. I just think maybe Rock and Metal can make a comeback and be as popular as it was back in the 90's or 80's
It's a lovely thought . I hope that real music can find its way back into the mainstream . Not saying I hate Hip Hop I love it but it is getting a little old
Heavy metal has been bigger than ever. So many great bands have released or will release new records this year. I'd say it's more popular than it was ten years ago, you just have to dig deep. Some suggestions are korn, slipknot, trivium, hellyeah, lamb of god, testament, septicflesh, and metallica. Happy hunting!🤘
@@xtexaschainsawx I love metal and listen to Korn , Slipknot , Marilyn Manson , Rob Zombie , Bring me the horizon Etc etc .I'm just saying in general it would be nice to hear music with actual instruments in the charts . If your looking for a mad Blend of Hip Hop and metal tho I would suggest listening to Scxrlxrd !!
Metal has been bigger then ever
I hope so than the world will wake up....
It’s not for me but mad respect in finding what works for them, making music that engages people and being a success. Well done lads 👏
Your not supposed to get it!!! 😎
J K ?!
Huw Francis I’m glad you’re respectful about it! A lot of people just say it’s “satanic and noise” and that it takes no talent. But I’m glad you can see slipknots point of view and respect it!
Huw Francis ur one of the few good people who doesn’t hate on métal just because they don’t understand and I have mad respect for u now. Not many people even give this a chance
You're not supposed to be here.
When Clown presses his head against someone's back and knocks them forward onto the 'stage', that was me 🥰
@2:40
Jay Weinberg is total a beast on them drums
But i prefer joey more better than him
Kenickie Syxx I still prefer Joey
Better than Joey on my op
He does a great job and he is awesome the only point joey beats him is on the double bass.
But he acts like he's always been in slipknot
The deep transitioning from lighting speed heavy throws to later at 4:49 to 5:39 with guitar riff & drum groove simply smokes.... Fascinating only metal lovers understand the goosebumps....🙏👍🏼😎❤️
Jesus, the sound quality is phenomenal. I mean, it is the BBC afterall, but even for them this is above and beyond.
I think my dog and I broke our neck while listening to this
Headbanging dogs are the real good boys :D
Finally they brought the percussion and sample sound into a live show again! Usually the percussions and samples are so low that you can barely hear them at all..
I miss that about Slipknot a lot!
i know people aren't the biggest fan or tortilla mans vocals, but, omg i love his stage presence and the more and more i listen to his vocals, i actually am starting to love it... his energy is amazing, and his vocals are so unique
Nothing will ever be like it was compared to the London 2002 show....words can't describe the amount of passion & energy put into that particular performance. Much love & respect to each and everyone of you guys 👍
I partially agree with you. I feel like Download 2009 show is almost or on par when it comes to energy and passion in performance
At the first but his voice sounded really hoarse but toward the end it REALLY came back
he was sick during the time they performed
@@youngboy344 yeah he def sounded sick. His voice did make a comeback at the end of that song tho
He admits that he doesn't warm up. He just let's it warm up as he goes.
@@j3kwe uh has he?
Lets be honest... his voice is fucked up...wich is really sad.... i always loved iowa screams 😥
Slipknot is like a perfect mix between Nu-Metal and deathcore, those screams, the high speed riffs and those blast beats
This song in particular is more accurately death metal influenced since it came out in 2001 and a lot of them were involved in the local dm scene before Slipknot formed
That guitar intro from Mick always gives me goose bumps!!!!
I like how they've changed it over the years. It sounds more menacing these days. It's got a different effect.
Me :Soo Mick how are you today?
Mick: 3:55
Me. Riiiight okay i will be on my way.
Yes! Just what we need.. A disasterpiece.. LONG LIVE THE KNOT!!!🤘🤘🤘
Whoever's the dude in BBC who decided to upload daily live Slipknot performances, hats off to you in these trying times.
Saw them in Birmingham in January this year, the band are sounding better than ever tbh
Love it that Disasterpiece is recorded like this in fucking 2020!!
This song destroys everything even 20 years later it still hits just as hard as the 1st time I heard it .
So glad they played disasterpiece out of all the songs they could've played off of iowa.
3:47 that little note change on the guitar from Mick is a nice touch wow
It was Jim
One of their best songs no question, glad BBC was able to capture it!
Corey Taylor: 0:17
Me: so deep😔👌
This set was worth the TV licence fee on its own.
My feed has been blessed
Jesus the breath control of Corey at 1:36 is crazy, considering he jumps all over stage and probably already done a load of songs before this, very impressive!
Jay just feels so right behind the kit as a Joey replacement. He was such a fan growing up. Mans living his dream 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼❤️
Slipknot, this is incredible. This song, this performance, you guys kill.
Corey Taylor really is one of the best metal vocalists of this generation. 20 years later and he still got it
Finally! I've been waiting for this! This is like back to school. U blast slipknot music in ur ears and no one understands you.. No one know why you listen to this "kind of music".
Today I walk into my work office. I still listen to slipknot till today. Colleague look at me with that look (you know that look). "so loud". I replied "You don't understand at all.. Go listen to ur shit..."
Thank you slipknot.
Okay boomer.
God this absolutely RIPS. Love what Jim was doing with his guitar part.
i don’t know what it is, maybe it’s corey new scream, but i really want another 2002 disasterpiece live, because that live show was absolutely INSANE.
Thanks guys!!! Really needed that Hope to see you in Dallas this summer!!! Got my ticket already. Just need to hear that it won't be cancelled!!!!!
Thanks BBC I love Slipknot 💓:)
One may believe this is difficult on the drums, now I'm not saying your wrong, but Joey and Jay have both said that vol.3 has the most intricate and difficult drumming. Think about that, slipknot has some of the most difficult drumming ever, and doesnt sound right without everything else either. The guitars, the drums, the percussion drums, the vocals, the backing vocals, the turntables, the sampling and keyboards, drop one piece, and it all comes falling down. This is why this 9 piece metal band is the best band to grace the planet ever since 1999. Unreal.
This is so sad when you’re used to watching the London 2002 performance. Slipknot still rocks and they give everything they have in these performances, but age is a real thing and it’s sad sometimes.
Your not but let's cherish these guys till ether they quit or Corey's vocals finally give out lol
UnscrewedFish7 I’m still kind of disappointed with their material lately. Paul’s been gone (RIP) and I’m still sour about how the Joey situation ended.
Sean Wechsler i understand with joey but i find joey is a better drummer to be honest
Dumbest comment ever, here they don't move cause the stage is really smalls for NINE guys and the only real difference could be in Corey's voice who is supposed to be sick around this time. Joey left over 5 years ago and honestly Jay is a way better drummer
Luis Berrios in your opinion.
I love the soul in James' improvised fill ins.
The opening guitars sounds like someone's blood curling screaming while they're being murdered. *I LOVE IT!*
Let's be honest this wasn't in your recommendation. You searched for it
Stunning performance, man he can beat the drums
Wacthing a hundred times
As Tenacious D once valiantly said:
You cant kill the Metal.🤟
A: I feel sad
B: i listen Slipknot
C: i feel happy and berserker
#MAGGOT4EVER
World's best heavy metal band
We fucking needed this, thank you BBC
Puta Que Pariu!Não tem como não admirar uma banda dessa!É perfeitaaaaaaa!Vsf!!!😜🤘
noises noises, people make noises, os caras são fodas
🤑 สุดยอดมากครับ 🤘
For years, the disasterpiece intro sounded off. Apparently Mick went back to those old boss units cause this sounds pretty authentic. Surprised that he doesn't get with a company to make him a standalone pedal that makes the disasterpiece ontro sound. People would definitely buy it
The perfect OST nowadays.
These all people are so lucky! Love you all! Best band of all times!
We all know a person we could dedicate this song to. Let's be honest
Crowd standing there like watching a wedding dance - they should go crazy nuts being so close to the band.
i love how the intro sounds progressively more dirty and high-pitched over the years
This is the band's coolest look ever. I will not be taking questions.
That was fkn insane!!🤘🏻
Slipknot still sound so tight live!! Epic band. May they reign for many more years to come 🤘🤘🇬🇧
5:00 love the way Sid moves
These are awesome, intense live videos from the best live band in the world. Simply amazing, love 🤟🤟🤟🤟
The best disasterpieces is in london arena !!!!!
Lol no. Milan
Bloody oath 👍and people = shit at London, awesome, some of the best live metal ever recorded
Nothing tops their London (2002) performance!
May No. 1 favorite Slipknot song since then
_A MASTERPIECE_ ❤❤❤❤
Dude, these guys are ON TOP of their game... Corey's voice espec is fucking awesome
jim was doing magic and they didnt filmed it right goddammit
"Is there another way to live? No, cause this is the only way to die." That shit is deep as fuck.
“Feel like I’m erased- so kill me just in case”
Man the videography of this feels like it's an official music video

The best jay perform🙌🙌🙌
One of the best songs ever made by Slipknot.
i’m so glad corey got a better mask and tortilla man worked on his vocals
omg finally!!! thanks so much
3:23 Sid is hilarious
Holy shit. All those ppl standing so close to Slipknot. I swear my heart would stop
I played this song to my cat, and now he's still a cat. Damnit!
But now your cat is on the sic cult
A classic slipknot tune this. Love it
I would give them all my toilet paper for this live
My all time favourite song by Slipknot on the BBC, crazy
Awesome. Cheers from singapore!
Jim's the man! He gives a totally new approach to this song.
Might have this at my wedding
I want slipknot to make this a small live album, I love this performance so much
3:30 Omg coreys scream is still good
In my opinion, this was his worst era of screams. I'm glad he got to rest his voice in the pandemic. The screams on the new album are brutal
My favorite band. I love Slipknot.
1:15 ear ...wtf
Corey Florucci I think it’s just folded in the mask, painted and he has a earpiece in
Evie Lewin it’s folded AND I think Corey’s ears look disproportional because his neck and head are pretty big lol. Probably has normal sized ears
