Wonderful tips as I can appreciate your valuable suggestions having had terrible sleepless nights for two years. My main reason was low levels of vitamin D which was not diagnosed by MANY physicians and through my personal research I corrected the deficiency myself. (Low and high levels are equally bad) Along with your advice, to stress the points that most people ignore, switching off light emitting gadgets and not having caffeine after noon appears to be very beneficial for a QUALITY SLEEP.
