As promised, here's a short tutorial on how you can create your own Motion Graphics Templates (MOGRT) for Premiere Pro 2020 using After Effects.
For this tutorial, I will assume you already have some understanding of how to animate in After Effects. This is a tutorial primarily aimed at converting existing designs into template format for use in Premiere Pro.
The benefit of having title templates is being able to create efficient workflows with each video project. By utilising templates, you can safely amend the content of each title without worrying about affecting the animation or core design. Layering up multiple titles can significantly improve the narrative of any video, giving extra context and chapter markers to the viewer. Whether you choose to buy my new set of titles or look to work on your own, I seriously encourage you to look towards them as a way to improve or benefit your videos.

Very helpful man. I'm just starting with motion graphics and MOGRT. Can you do one where you can set the value of "X" inside the mogrt? Like a percentage bar or a pie chart. Cheers!

Really made me switch back to Premiere just for these titles😂 On the other hand, seems like Adobe has been fixing some of the issues and my Macbook Pro can actually run Premiere smoothly now. I was okay with switching to Final Cut full time but the thought of creating animations in Apple Motion which is less diverse than AE was a huge drawback. Also, from another developer to another, I appreciate even the smallest of details that went into these titles. More AE stuff please.

Hi...this video was really helpful to work around in and out of AE and PR thanks ..I would really like if you have some overlays which you can share as i am an editor and on daily projects i need some overlays but would like some royalty free once.
Hey Joe, you might able able to use ternary operators in your JS code if you wanted (assume AE supports them).
You if else statement would turn into. -

This was really helpful.. although I did have an issue. When I imported it into Premier I could edit the text, but it remained the original 5 secs duration of my original AE comp no matter what length I set the clip to in Premiere. Any idea where I have gone wrong?
getting an error when i try to drop text layer into essential graphics window. Says After Effects Warning: One or more layers are not supported by media replacement because they are an incompatible type or have continuous rasterization or collapse transformation enabled. Need help.
