That would be amazing. I can’t even count how many times I’ve seen a recipe of his, and then I’m like what episode was it again. So then I rewatch a bunch of videos just to find the recipe.
That was an awesome day of bottom fishing out to sea on a specially calm day out to catch some of the best eating fish you can get.. A beautiful day which even included a welcome back out with an escort by those dolphins come on!.. Its good that you mentioned the taking of precautions because some may not know. The sea will always welcome you with love and open arms always, but it doesn't guarantee a return
Love watching him go fishing, alot of good ideas , down to earth guy like the rest of us , and he makes me soooooo hungry when he does his catch & cooks , would love to go fishing with him one day , I know it'll be a blast
Love this video. Offshore fishing is addicting! Thanks for sharing the Bird of Prey business. They have a nice selection, fair prices and seem like the kind of folks I like to support. 👍
Walleye wings and cheeks are a staple up here. The wings (throats) are the best part of the fish if you're willing to do the work to eat them. Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend.
This is a Great video Steven, but we love them all. You’re now officially the wife’s favorite fishing show. She wants to cook with you someday since we’re now living in the neighborhood. Keep the faith! Matt. 4:19
How wonderful, I repeated the first 2 minutes multiple times, just beautiful!! So glad to see ya and thanks so much for sharing with us. I look for you first every single day during my break from real life break lol.
Steven, For my deeper water yak, jet ski, I dip my weights in the plastidip and let them dry outside for a week or so. Every little bit adds up! Great vid !!!
I am 61years old if you ever need someone to go out with you I would definitely be interested in going out I do know how to catch live bait and can throw a net
Awwwesome catch, clean, cook ~!! I can almost smell the aroma of cooked fish from here! Keep em coming. May God bless..... Ok,Ok, I can't stand it!~!!! I'm comin to your house to eat~!!! :-)))
What a great video! First Yellow-eyed snapper I’ve ever seen. Really pretty fish! The opening scene with the dolphins swimming alongside your boat was such a beautiful sight. Really enjoyed the whole video and thanks for sharing with us.
Friend, you are living the dream !! I am so happy (and jealous) of living on the ocean, fishing when you want, and living in the great state of Alabama !!
I love watching your videos. Hope one day I can cross paths and get some on the spot tips as I regularly visit Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Could you do a crab fishing video with chicken legs?
No way I would take a single outboard motor, that far out the way they break down. In Speaking from experience. Always a great show, definitely in my top 3 shows. Cool dude
I fish NE FL Atlantic. 40-60mi out most trips. We call the really big Beeliners Oceanliners and say "Praise Beezus!" when we catch one. Our "season" for red snapper here is 3 days per year IF THAT!!! There are thousands of them on every spot. One bonus here is we get giant Mangroves and Mutton and Trigger are open all year long and we catch some trash can lid trigs out in 160ft. Our Wahoo fishery is also very, very good. You remind me of a younger me haha.. I used to take my 21' CC 50 miles out to the ledge in 160ft solo quite often. Great content man. Keep up the good work!!
Save that yellow eye spot! I’m pretty sure around here those aren’t very common and are a very desirable species for table fair. I love your videos. Every one seems to be exactly my style of fishing. Got a 24’ sailfish but am a bit hesitant to go out that far yet but would definitely do it with a buddy boat. Let me know if you ever would like to do that.
I know I have said this before, but I really like that you are a meat fisherman. Trophies are nice, but an ice chest of bled fish is awesome. You should do some videos featuring how many ways you can cook fish you caught that day or from your freezer. It would make a great playlist. You can use video you've already edited.
Stephen, get a pool noodle from dollar tree or dollar store. Cut it length wise and wrap around your gunnal to protect it from your rod when deep fishing. Just idea for you! Bud
When you have strong wind and or current, you can direct your boat’s stern to the waves and just gear in reverse with the right motor. Since you only have one motor, you can tilt the steering wheel a little to the left and put in reverse to compensate. Takes some time to adapt but the line will always be straight
Another fantastic video! Thanks for sharing. You often say something about saving stuff for the crab trap…I would like to see a crab trap video some day!
What a shame about the Red Snapper... that was a good fish... Great video... Been out fishing in the Hauraki Gulf in New Zealand when a pod of Hectors Dolphins swarmed the boat... Beautiful sight!
I've gotten lucky last few times you've post a video I got to come home from fishing and watch a video lol. Caught a 16 inch speck on a paddletail today and turned it into a sandwich. Caught some undersized ones as well but the ladyfish started in. Still fun to catch.
I really enjoy your videos and if I ever come to Alabama I'm going to get in touch with you and get you to cook me a piece a fish! At 73 years old I don't know if I live long enough for that to happen but you officially on my bucket list have a great day and I really care about the way you end your videos makes me feel good!
Awesome quick half hour! How far out do you still see silt from the Mississippi? I've read that the fresh water plume from the Amazon reaches100-200 miles into the Atlantic. As for deep water fishing, we used to fish out of OBX..one time for golden tile fish, similar depth as your vid. The Capt. said "don't reel up your first hook up- wait for at least two". Well, my son who was a youngin at the time took his advice, but after reeling up 2 fish from that deep, he quit for about an hour...lol!😅 TY for the vid, especially the cooking!
Thanks! It's not too often we see the Mississippi River mud over this far east. Tons of rain this winter though and crazy currents. And for sure!!! Great way to ensure a multi hookup as long as the sharks aren't too bad ! Thank ya! I'm happy to share!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we need a Bama saltwater cookbook!!
Absolutely
🙋🏻♀️
I’d buy a few for myself and friends.
That would be amazing. I can’t even count how many times I’ve seen a recipe of his, and then I’m like what episode was it again. So then I rewatch a bunch of videos just to find the recipe.
I’d be buy one
My 3 year old son and I love your catch and cooks. He says, “daddy I want to watch him cook one” lol. Thanks for putting them out!
Awesome to hear!!! Thank y'all!

The dolphins were beautiful!! I could watch that for an hour!!❤❤

Thanks!
Sweet shots of the dolphins... I think I was drooling watching you eat that awesome looking lunch...
Thank you so much for the dolphin footage! It was awesome!😎👍
One of the best part about fishing in the GoM you can talk louder without scaring fish away 😂😂
I know I have said this before, but I really like that you are a meat fisherman. Trophies are nice, but an ice chest of bled fish is awesome. Just got back a couple of hours ago from back surgery. So happy to open UA-cam to a new video! Thanks as always, Stephen!

Looks like you might be ready for an electric reel. I got a Tanacom 1200 for Christmas. I haven't had a chance to use it yet though.
Great video
Good stuff brother
If you ever think about getting your capt license and start running charters I be one of the first to sign up 😊
When I fished for halibut here in oregon we fished between 300 and 350ft of water fishing 64oz cannonball weights
Truly amazing how fast a dolphin can swim!
It really is!!!
What a shame about the Red Snapper... that was a good fish... Great video... Been out fishing in the Hauraki Gulf in New Zealand when a pod of Hectors Dolphins swarmed the boat... Beautiful sight!

Heck yeah it's all fun ! Glad you got one for a meal!
Them collars or throats are definitely the best bites on the fish. I waste nothing.🎣🍻😋👍
We need a Bama Saltwater charter boat
Favorite youtuber
Love snapper throats! There’s a restaurant in Bessemer Al that serves fried snapper throats, amazing!!
That's awesome. They really are delicious
I really enjoy your videos and if I ever come to Alabama I'm going to get in touch with you and get you to cook me a piece a fish!
