I honestly really just like the mods that recolor the Classic and Advanced suits to have brighter colors instead of the off orange the game uses by default.
What makes me happy is a modder made the Edge of Time suit here. It wasn't the best Spidey game, but it was fun and had a genius Spidey suit design with the asymmetric webbing on it. So glad it hasn't been forgotten
The second version of the Spectacular Black Suit is an EXTREMELY UNDERRATED design🔥🔥🔥. Where he has the webbing on his upper chest and legs but nowhere else
I also have to say what a good PC port this is. It's incredible how responsive keyboard+mouse controls are and how extensive the graphics settings are. The port is extremely well optimized and can run on low-medium settings even on my crappy 7 year old laptop.
There's no symbiote suit cause it wouldn't make sense to have it in this game. Makes way more sense to have it in the sequel though with the introduction of Venom.
If you want a cloth black suit, there is an edited version of the Scarlet Spider base suit that uses the black suit as something more tactical. It honestly looks like Black Cat WOULD make it for him, and it’s my favorite version of the symbiote suit in the game.
@@lmaohhahhalolol for me it’s the fabric seams, and the fact that it kinda looks like the Dark Suit, which in this continuity was made by Black Cat, so it’s even better. I did the entirety of her DLC missions in that suit.
@@fours1524 they did have an original version that did it more like the advanced suit, but the 1.5 update has it wrap all the way around. Either way, I still think it’s the best one. Spidey suits are the best when they look like an actual suit, in my opinion. The symbiote is usually an exception, but that design is just too good, and makes me prefer a more tactical look for the symbiote.
i love the animation mods, including MM's swinging & fighting animations mixed in with Peter's it adds so much variety, by far my favourite mods but the suit mods are spectacular. For how long the game has been released and there are already so many amazingly detailed suits and models.. it'll be crazy within 6-12 months.

It was basically their way of getting thing even imo. I remember all the hate they got right after releasing the game, for not having the Sam Raimi Suit. It was magnified because almost every MCU Spidey suit was already in game. Then, by Christmas of the same year, they just released it for free. They stated that the licensing is what caused the delay (which i believe 100%). Even tho i myself was a lil disappointed when the game didn't have it initially. Then later on, some people started criticising the Suit design as not being Faithful, but more of an idealized version of the Sam Raimi suit. Insomniac knew they couldn't please everyone. So they just released the game again, made it mod friendly, and just gave us the platform to do it ourselves however we want. I really admire that. This game has a great amount of Replaybility. A thing that a lot of the Brilliant games that came out in the same year as it lacked in some form (GoW, RDR2 etc.) I just feel happy with the amount of mods i see everyday. The community had been ready for many years.
Well the game is hardware demanding. I've had issues with mine as well. I mean I had mine running in 30 fps but I don't mind. But what I do mind is the world loading is delayed on some areas and I would be stuck mid swing to wait for the areas to load.
I really hope someone will be able to do the suit customization idea you did and try to port it into the mod in some way, either that or someone could try putting some of your spider suits in the mod
My favourite mod by far is Advanced Suit Recolor (Blue to Dark Gray). It's honestly the first time I love the advanced suit. I used to hate the white spider but with black instead of blue I find the suit noticeably more striking. It's such a good mod.
I think it’s cool, honestly. Modding is what got me to buy it too. There was no way I was going to buy the game a third time, unless I was able to really change how it functioned or looked.

Beautiful. People say that every new version of Spider-Man we get always makes Peter a teenager but that’s not true. They only think that because the most recent versions of him we’ve gotten have him as a teen. The only game where he’s been a teen is in ultimate Spider-Man and we’ve had 4 shows where he’s an adult and 2 movie franchises where he’s an adult. Tobey finished high school in the first act of Spider-Man and Andrew graduated high school at the beginning of the amazing Spider-Man 2. After that we got 2 shows of Spider-Man being a teen and a movie trilogy of him being a teen which set up his next trilogy as an adult. My point is, there’s an exaggeration of there being too much of Peter Parker being a teen in every new series. And seeing this makes me remember how I’ve always wanted a Spider-Man game series that starts Peter’s origin and he’s in high school. Insomniac sort of gave me that when they made Spider-Man Miles Morales and I love that game but it wasn’t Peter and they didn’t really use the school element of Miles’ character. Insomniac should make another Spider-Man game franchise based on the ultimate comics BUT DONT HAVE PETER DIE

I actively love 100%ing the games. I am currently on my 5th 100% run and I plan to do it again afterwards mostly because I’m on PC and have a completely new save file so I beat in hard and then ultimate, either NG+ or straight up from scratch. (Depends on how I feel). But I absolutely want some suit mods to play around with because I can only take the same suits so many times

I guarantee modding didn’t play a part in the decision to port the game. It’s Sony’s choice to begin with.
