Absolutely beautiful imagery, per usual! Really lovely work with the colors transitioning between digital and the different film shots. Your vids are always inspiring and just an all-around joy to watch. I'm adding Maine to the must-visit list!
Thanks for watching, Greg! I agree - she’s definitely the star of the show here. I’m just here to take photos 😂 Appreciate it though! I’m writing a script for a video on iPhone photography, and while doing some research, I found an article highlighting your Instagram. Excellent work!
Beautiful video! Loved the vibe, music and the Images!. Maine has been on my bucket list, but never could find a decent fair/pckg deal So I havent been there yet.
Damn, the person reading Allen Ginsberg's Howl while riding the ferry is a vibe. It looks like a lovely trip dude, and I'm glad you and your lady were able to take it together. I think my partner and I are due for one ourselves. Acadia National Park looks incredible. I have a goal to go to all the national parks one day--did you know there are 63 national parks in the US, and 9 of them are in California? We've got the most 😉As for your photos, they are great dude. I love the photos at 2:34, 9:01, and 12:00. I've never shot medium format, and probably wont for awhile, but it made me miss shooting full frame on my 5D Mkii. Might have to pick one up again, or even the RP if it ever gets low enough. Great work as always man.
Haha, oh I know CA is hogging all of the national parks! You guys should definitely visit, man. It’s the perfect mix of mountains, trees, and beach all in one park. It’s beautiful. I’ve gotta admit; I’ve had my eye on some FF cameras (coughSONYcough) because you can’t deny that look and image quality. And thanks man, I’m looking to go into some more film content in the future, in addition to Fuji stuff. This month has put a little wrench in my content schedule, but I’ll be back on track soon enough! Appreciate you, bro! ✌️
@@Christopher_Ray One day it'll happen. New England is the part of America that I've always been fascinated in, but at the moment the Pacific Northwest and it's Gold Rush roots has me hooked. I'll have my own Eastern expedition one day. Bruh, really??? Sony??? I'm gonna have to DM you for this one lol. Keep up the film stuff. I'm impartial to film in general, but I love the mindset more than anything. It's your channel bro, you create and share at your own time. I feel bad that I haven't been posting on my own channel, but I'm still working on videos in different platforms. All that matters is you give yourself the time and space when you need it!
i´m so happy to be one of your first subscribers (thanks youtube algorithm). i hope this channel growth that much , like it deserve it. Thanks for the golden, well-doing, inspiring photos :)
Thanks, Tim! Maine was definitely a spur of the moment decision, but it was a good one. I highly recommend visiting! It’s beautiful this time of year. And I agree haha. She is a silly one 😋
Thanks so much, Thays! It was a joy getting back into film, and I want to continue diving into the subject. And I'm sure I have some tips I can share, so feel free to DM me any time!
Wow great photos, I love the look of Kodak Gold, a beautiful video, and I gotta say that 80mm f1.9 is pretty impressive without that clinical edge, how was the lens over all to shoot with? My Mamiya go to lens is the 110mm f2.8 with my Pro TL set up.
Thanks, Clarhett! Kodak Gold 200 was definitely the MVP for me on this trip. It was my first time shooting it, and I absolutely LOVED every single image I got back from that roll. As far as the lens, I really love it. It’s super bright, and has some excellent sharpness. It’s my favorite focal length to shoot with, as well. I’m definitely interested in picking up that 110mm!
@@Christopher_Ray So I've now watched this video 4 times, and its the second video in a 12 hour cycle that unexpectedly shown a light on Maine, and both were exceptional. the other video titled - Sweet Life, shot by - the essential craftsmen, is more about carpentry, worth a peek. So, thanks to you, I finally ordered a 80mm 1.9 on etubeBay needs work, but it should be worthwhile adventure. The only thing left is to book the tickets to Maine...lol
Fantastic video Chris! This video is a change of pace from everything else on youtube and I enjoyed every second of it. Your story telling is sensational :D
hey! enjoyed your video. one question - i also have a mamiya 645 pro and im having difficulty finding appropriate lugs/straps for it. any recs for lugs/straps?
For some weird reason, one of your videos appeared in my YT feed. Just wanna ask, are you Filipino too? 😄 Also, GREAT CONTENT. Love the feel on your videos! Keep it up, please. 🥳
@@Christopher_Ray Sorry I meant to say "one of your videos appeared JUST NOW (a video from 6mos ago)". Hehe weird algorithm! 😅 Anyway, yay! Figured. Nakaka-proud ka, kababayan! 🥳

Excellent video. Thanks for the share. But Laeklyn's "MTV Cribs" monologue stole the show. Kudos on a great trip, and great project.
