Ok my last comment, just finished the video. And I just gotta say….you can literally feel the love when Peter looks at Kitra. He’s just sitting there, stars in his eyes, while Kitra is showing off her stuff. And you can just see it, homeboy is in lurve. And I love that. Okay I’m done, love y’all’s channel so much.
There was one vid about a parade an Kitra asked Peter what he liked best about it - and I knew he was gonna say „it makes you happy“. They are just so sweet and I am happy for them ❤❤
Legit shoutout to you guys for a) linking everything without sponsorhship and b) sponsoring the video. Make that paper babyyyy! Proud of you guys thanks
Hi guys! I've been watching old videos and just have to say that Peter is killing it on his weight loss journey! Currently on a weight loss journey myself, so I know the struggle. Keep up the great work. Love the channel and you guys are so cute together 😊
Words can seriously not express the level of cuteness you two possess !!!!❤❤❤ I absolutely love watching your videos . Also , so many great ideas and products in this video this was seriously so helpful. You guys have your travel game on point!
“Don’t pack your fear” omg that’s brilliant. And I get it being plus-sized. If we lose our clothing - especially swimwear -- it’s not a good situation.
Got to give out a shout out to Bombas too. I have such messed up feet and everyone talks about shoes, but never socks! I dragged my feet about buying them because they are more expensive than regular socks, but decided that just improving my shoes wasn't cutting it. It makes such a difference! When I went to Disney World and was walking around all day I got zero blisters and my foot pain was manageable. Other people had all sorts of problems. I swear it was the socks! It may be an investment, but for something you wear everyday, that prevents pain... it's worth it.
I used to only buy the cheapest socks and thought that spending any more money was a waste, until I tried Bombas. Totally changed my mind. It makes so much sense to me now that we should be spending more money on something we use every single day. It does really make a big difference
I love that you guys are trying different things with your videos. It appeals to those of us that aren’t here JUST for Disney content, but for you guys as well 😁😁😁
I've really challenged myself to pack multifunctional items that pack down into a smaller size like my Travelon backpack, Peak Design tote or puff coat. One of the biggest packing editing I've forced myself to do is not packing for "just in case I need it". And in the event I need to get something like a rain poncho, scarf or some other wearable item they become a functional souvenir.
🧳 I love videos like these! Super helpful for us who get overwhelmed with packing. Also Kitra don’t be embarrassed about the razor girl! It’s real and shows us girls that it’s part of being a woman.
I love the colors of your backpack, Kitra! Such 90s kid show vibes. It feels like you’re about to go on an adventure on the Magic School Bus 😂 Hope you enjoy Japan!
Converted my husband to a carry on only travel rule when we started dating and now as a family of four we swear by it ❤great content guys!! You have some much amazing advice!!
Awesome to see you guys heading back to Japan. I went to Japan last month for the first time and before I left I watched your videos about Tokyo Disneyland and made me more excited to visit. Hope you guys have a great time!
🧳Great video and loved hearing why you chose your items and the thoughtfulness you both have. We’re headed to Paris (incl Disneyland Paris!) & Spain next year and loved some of the items you shared!
Thanks Peter and Kitra for sharing the necessities needed for packing on a trip. Now if i can convince my wife and daughter to pack like this to save my back from visiting a chiropractor after every Disney vacation.
Hey crew! I am also plus sized and have mobility issues and I have really struggled with purses since I started using a mobility cane full time. I am forgetful and condensing down to a Loungefly backpack was more than I needed for many applications. That's when I discovered hip bags and Sipsey Wilder. I got one of their Ranger bags and Venture wallets and have never looked back. The wallet slides onto the hip bag belt, so it's impossible for me to misplace my "purse" or wallet as it's physically attached to me now. Also, this frees up my back for my Loungefly should I require the extra space. Also, highly recommend a dedicated organizer you can swap between Loungefly backpacks. Makes life so much easier when swapping over!
I'm quite new to your channel and love watching all the theme park stuff but I just had to comment how much I love that her nails match his glasses! :D
Guys I love this video because so many times I think oh I wonder what they are filming on or what are they using. It’s great you took the time to go through everything because us fellow travel bugs certainly appreciate it! ❤
I have a toiletries bag that is always ready to go. When I come home from a trip, and start unpacking, I refill everything in that bag, like the small Q-tip box. It also has a tiny ziplock with a couple of bandaids, safety pins, etc. With my toiletries bag always ready to go I only have to worry about my clothes. But, I totally agree with the permanent list that you can tailor for each trip. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We should’ve mentioned this but didn’t but we do the same thing not just with toiletry but my tech pouch. I have cables and stuff I use at home and all that stuff stays in my bag ready to go for the next trip so I never forget anything
Hi Kitra and Peter, so informative. Thanks so much for such detailed information. You both are amazing and it’s always a happy feeling watching all the vlogs . Thank you for being you and not changing.😊 I have stopped watching a number of bloggers who have changed and don’t get the feel good vibes anymore since they have become more successful. You both are successful yet stay true to who you are!!! 😊🌸🌼
I just returned from my very first cruise ever (thanks to you two for being part of what led me to book it)! I’m just a little apoplectic that this video didn’t come out before it 😂❤
@ you guys, I had THE TIME OF MY LIFE! We sailed Aqua Class on the Celebrity Apex to the Caribbean. Can’t wait for the next one! And actually, between you and V&Q and Jen Lefforge and Adam Hattan, I felt very prepared packing wise ;)
I also love love the cotopaxi bags. I was able to get the Cotopaxi Allpa 28L Travel Pack (slightly smaller than Peter's bag, Kitra's size) on a budget flight (Frontier) as the personal item. Just FYI
This video is a huge help for me and my husband. we also travel a lot, and we will be going to japan in early 2027 and many of these items will be a huge help in our packing! Love these packing videos! Can't wait to see your Japan vlogs from your current trip ❤
Love me some Cotopaxi! Colors can get really bright if you're down for it which I like! Got my wife and I the same jacket Peter has and it's so warm and lightweight.
Thank you for sharing this video guys, this was SO SUPER helpful! I went and bought the magsafe iPhone stand after watching! Thanks Peter! I’ve been looking for something like that, portable to mount on the phone or throw in my fanny pack. I absolutely love Bombas socks and will only run and travel (long walks) with Bombas, best sock ever! Can’t wait to see your Japan vids! I’m headed to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka next week. So excited!! ❤
A video all about organization...a video after my own heart! Great insight into all things travel and vlog. I love the "just in case" rule and I'm going to try that on my next trip! 🧳
Handy, thank you! I'll be in Japan for nearly four weeks and am a bit worried about lugging a big suitcase around on trains etc. so good to get an idea of what's really essential. I'm looking forward to your next set of travel videos, have a safe trip! :)
Peter! I have a question about your Suti back case for your iPhone. I bought the first version they made for my iPhone 15 and I loved it UNTIL I realized that all my videos suddenly had a high-pitched whine. After days of trying to find the cause, I realized it was the Suti case. Could you please check to see if yours causes a subtle whine when recording videos? Obviously, you have to be recording a video in a quiet location to hear it. I’m wondering if they’ve fixed the issue in recent iterations. I love these cases, but haven’t wanted to buy any since that incident. PS: I would totally subscribe to a Peter Travel Tech channel. Ordinary Tech? Tech Adventures? Yeah?
@ - Okay, perhaps they fixed it. I think it was because it was such a strong magnet - or maybe something to do with my iPhone at the time. Anyway, please update this thread if you happen to notice anything in the future. Much obliged!
Love the video and such great tips. I’ve been looking for a new backpack and those look amazing. Agreed with Bombas, only socks I’ll wear. You two are so fun to watch. Not only are you both entertaining, but you give great advice and tips. Thank you both for all you do. ❤
I like that you guys posted this,as I'm going on a cruise to Alaska in 2026. It's good info to have and thanks for sharing. Happy travelling and be safe!
Love the tips. Not sure I would be able to travel with just small bags, the airlines I tend to travel with from Australia have tiny weight and dimensions limits. I love the backpacks and the colors. They remind me of my old caribee backpacks I used to have.
We got the BEIS luggage when you first advertised and recommended them a couple years ago. We love them! We got the navy blue set. We are still waiting on the garment bag to come back in navy blue. Love all your recommendations. ❤️
We absolutely loved our Cotopaxi 35L bags for our two week Japan trip last year. We went real minimal because we didn't want to deal with rolling around the luggage up and down the stairs. Packed a weeks worth of clothing and washed. I (Venessa,) also have the retractable Matador bag and it's such an awesome day bag. We're heading back to Japan in February and we're really going to test our packing skills since we're going to have to pack winter clothes in the 35L. And Kitra, I feel ya. At 42, gut issues and major dizzy spells, I need all the meds. 😓 Was the hand sanitizer super strong smelling? Love packing videos! I also didn't know Bombas made compression socks. Thanks.
Hi P&K! Thanks so much for this really helpful video! Gonna refer to it again when I go to Japan. I was curious if there were some audio hiccups in the edit though or if it was just me. Some portions seemed a bit muffled and hard to hear.
Thank you so much for posting this! This is going to help a lot! One thing though that I didn’t see a link for is……what brand of packing cubes do you both use if you don’t mind sharing because I’ve been on the hunt for good quality packing cubes? 😊
If you're going to Universal Studios Japan, you MUST go to Horai 551 in Universal City walk and get a butaman (pork bao). They are the best. They also sell them in Osaka station. They were one of the best things I ate the whole trip.
I broke my glasses once on a trip and I only wear glasses no contacts so I was SOL. Now I always pack an extra! Also I always have a face razor I pack I can’t be a week trip without that it would be bad haha Also I suggest the tru lemon packs to put in your water they make real lemonade! So good!!
Perfect timing with the video! Planning a trip to Japan in April for SW Celebration/vacation and the tech bag and vlogging equipment gave me ideas to put on my Christmas list! Thanks Peter and Kitra!
Great information! I love to travel and want to take a big trip next year to celebrate the end of a medical treatment. I will definitely rewatch. Thanks!
I recommend the Ultima brand drink mixes - they have 6 electrolytes and lots of Vitamin C. I find keeping my electrolytes up during a busy travel day helps me a lot with my energy.
Great vid.! One thing I find helpful is to pack a collapsible duffle bag in carry on then after trip is done and I’ve bought to much stuff pack all the dirty laundry in it and keep all the goodies in my carry on
Lovely nails Kitra! I was gonna tell you when this happened in one of your latest videos, a small baggy with backup nail glue sets me right every time. I use a brand called Mekerui it’s THE BEST I’ve ever used at home it LASTS. I can wear my nails for two weeks straight without any problems, even doing dishes and stuff. Anyway y’all look so good have a great time in Japan!
Great tips and tricks for folks like myself who don't travel much but are truly intimidated by the packing process. I typically put it off until the last minute and then completely fail at it because I'm rushed and panicking. Then I have to waste money re-buying all the stuff I left behind. Thanks for making this! PS: mAh = milliamp hours.
Haha we also usually wait to do the packing til the last minute, sometimes right before we leave for the airport. I think the key is to think about it ahead of time and make a list
This is awesome, thank you , I’m going on a week vacation in a few weeks and this is a great ideas…Peter I didnt see the link for the MagSafe silicone case in the description for the iPhone ??
I just have to say Peter’s looking really good, I haven’t seen a video from you guys in a couple of weeks and when I saw how much weight you’ve lost I literally took a double take lol. Looking great dude keep up the great work!
This is incredibly helpful! I'm a pretty good planner but I can always learn new things! I definitely overpack and "pack my fears"..! Also! Peter! You look awesome! And I love that you have a signature color haha. I do too, mine is purple, good ol' purple or a lighter "blueberry milk" purple. I have a Fjällräven Kånken bag in purple, Starbucks cup, etc :D
@@OrdinaryAdventures But maybe sometimes you need a little of those things for comfort, haha! Also! That little compartment in the luggage, I usually use it for chargers and smaller stuff, like a jewelry pouch.
Thank you to Bombas for sponsoring this video! One Purchased = One Donated, so head to bombas.com/ordinary and use code ORDINARY at checkout for 20% off your first purchase.

They are just so sweet and I am happy for them ❤❤
🥰
I mean Kitra is literally the cutest most lovable human alive so I get it ! 😊they are both just the cutest ❤
Kitra, don’t you dare be embarrassed about your little shaver. I need one too! Most ladies do. Great video guys!
☺️
Legit shoutout to you guys for a) linking everything without sponsorhship and b) sponsoring the video. Make that paper babyyyy! Proud of you guys thanks
I can’t tell you how excited and happy I am to be sponsored by Bombas. It’s literally a product I use almost every day
I'm going to need a whole video of Peter doing stuff with a deck of cards! so cool!
Have 🪄
These are the kind of packing videos I need. I am the queen of overpacking. 😅 Giving me the reality check I need.
🙌 hopefully we can help
This video would be an excellent gift guide for someone who travels often.
🙌
Hi guys! I've been watching old videos and just have to say that Peter is killing it on his weight loss journey! Currently on a weight loss journey myself, so I know the struggle. Keep up the great work. Love the channel and you guys are so cute together 😊

My heart is warmed by the way Peter looks at Kitra. Everyone needs a Peter.....💞

Kitra, youre such a queen. Thanks for normalizing real problems
🥰
“Don’t pack your fear” omg that’s brilliant.
And I get it being plus-sized. If we lose our clothing - especially swimwear -- it’s not a good situation.
It’s a good motto

Thanks so much!! Peter has wanted to make this video for awhile now. Even if no one watches it we are still happy it’s out there
@ I’m halfway through and you guys did a great job editing the video together! There’s a natural flow to it camera angles are on point 😁📸
Love the Tech bag portion of the video!!!! I really enjoyed how you went over each piece of equipment!
Thanks so much!! ☺️
Nice seeing the lovely Miss Pixel hanging out on the couch behind Peter!
☺️

Have fun!
I source yarn for a living and I’m so excited to hear Peter hyping merino wool!! Thank you! It is amazing!!🙌🏻
Love merino!
I'm quite new to your channel and love watching all the theme park stuff but I just had to comment how much I love that her nails match his glasses! :D
Ha thanks you 💅
Thank you for the informative vlog. Bought the Peak tech bag while watching the vlog.
Hope you enjoy it!
Guys I love this video because so many times I think oh I wonder what they are filming on or what are they using. It’s great you took the time to go through everything because us fellow travel bugs certainly appreciate it! ❤

Thanks for watching!
Loved this show! You’re both hoots! Thank you!
Yay! Thank you!
Icons of packing
🥰
I just returned from my very first cruise ever (thanks to you two for being part of what led me to book it)! I’m just a little apoplectic that this video didn’t come out before it 😂❤
Did you have fun? What ship did you go on?
@ you guys, I had THE TIME OF MY LIFE! We sailed Aqua Class on the Celebrity Apex to the Caribbean. Can’t wait for the next one! And actually, between you and V&Q and Jen Lefforge and Adam Hattan, I felt very prepared packing wise ;)
I also love love the cotopaxi bags. I was able to get the
Cotopaxi Allpa 28L Travel Pack (slightly smaller than Peter's bag, Kitra's size) on a budget flight (Frontier) as the personal item. Just FYI
Very cool
This video is a huge help for me and my husband. we also travel a lot, and we will be going to japan in early 2027 and many of these items will be a huge help in our packing! Love these packing videos! Can't wait to see your Japan vlogs from your current trip ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Love me some Cotopaxi! Colors can get really bright if you're down for it which I like! Got my wife and I the same jacket Peter has and it's so warm and lightweight.
Love the jacket, has kept me warm in Japan
Thank you for sharing this video guys, this was SO SUPER helpful! I went and bought the magsafe iPhone stand after watching! Thanks Peter! I’ve been looking for something like that, portable to mount on the phone or throw in my fanny pack. I absolutely love Bombas socks and will only run and travel (long walks) with Bombas, best sock ever! Can’t wait to see your Japan vids! I’m headed to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka next week. So excited!! ❤
Happy to hear we had some helpful info
A video all about organization...a video after my own heart! Great insight into all things travel and vlog. I love the "just in case" rule and I'm going to try that on my next trip! 🧳
Awesome! Thank you!
This was super useful, thankyou guys! Have a great time in Japan!
Thanks
Kitra, you have the best suggestions! I've purchased things you've suggested before like the powdered sunscreen and I love it! ❤
I'm so glad!
Handy, thank you! I'll be in Japan for nearly four weeks and am a bit worried about lugging a big suitcase around on trains etc. so good to get an idea of what's really essential. I'm looking forward to your next set of travel videos, have a safe trip! :)
Thank you! The trains aren’t that bad if you have carry on sized luggage
Yeah?
Hmmmm I haven’t noticed anything yet
@ - Okay, perhaps they fixed it. I think it was because it was such a strong magnet - or maybe something to do with my iPhone at the time. Anyway, please update this thread if you happen to notice anything in the future. Much obliged!
Love the video and such great tips. I’ve been looking for a new backpack and those look amazing. Agreed with Bombas, only socks I’ll wear. You two are so fun to watch. Not only are you both entertaining, but you give great advice and tips. Thank you both for all you do. ❤
😁
I can’t wait for the Japan videos. I’m sold on the Cotopaxi gear.
🙌
This was really helpful! Thank you for all the links! I love Bombas slippers, looking forward to trying the socks. 🎉
🤔 I gotta try their slippers
🧳 Definitely need more packing videos like this. Super helpful!!!
Thanks
Loved this video! It was very informative! I added a couple of items to my packing list 😊
Glad it was helpful!
I almost got a camp snap but I got the papershoot instead. super fun!
👍
🧳 Loved the video. Totally need to go back and pause on Kitra’s kindle to see what books you’ve got.
Ha
Love me some Cotopaxi gear! You both rock!
We love em too
I like that you guys posted this,as I'm going on a cruise to Alaska in 2026. It's good info to have and thanks for sharing. Happy travelling and be safe!
Have so much fun on your trip
Love the tips. Not sure I would be able to travel with just small bags, the airlines I tend to travel with from Australia have tiny weight and dimensions limits.
I love the backpacks and the colors. They remind me of my old caribee backpacks I used to have.
Oh yeah I’ve heard some international airlines are very picky about size and weight
For a more powerful zoom, I use the tamron 28-200 mm lens. It's not as nice as Sony lenses, but it does the trick.
I need to get a bigger zoom
Great tips guys! Thanks for the insight and behind the scenes. Keep the wonderful content coming! 😁🧳
☺️
We got the BEIS luggage when you first advertised and recommended them a couple years ago. We love them! We got the navy blue set. We are still waiting on the garment bag to come back in navy blue. Love all your recommendations. ❤️
Glad to hear
i love when owners zoom in on their pets in the background😂🤩, i love you guys ❤❤
Haha
We absolutely loved our Cotopaxi 35L bags for our two week Japan trip last year. We went real minimal because we didn't want to deal with rolling around the luggage up and down the stairs. I love love love that packable bag
Hi P&K! Thanks so much for this really helpful video! Gonna refer to it again when I go to Japan.
I was curious if there were some audio hiccups in the edit though or if it was just me. Some portions seemed a bit muffled and hard to hear.
Sorry about that we recorded it a new way and it didn’t turn out how we expected/wanted
🧳 Very useful video. Thanks, guys! Enjoy your next adventure in Japan
Our pleasure!
Thank you so much for posting this! This is going to help a lot! One thing though that I didn’t see a link for is……what brand of packing cubes do you both use if you don’t mind sharing because I’ve been on the hunt for good quality packing cubes? 😊
amzn.to/3CamL00
🧳 Thank you for sharing those backpacks! They look even more organized & better to travel with than my Lug bags!
👍
Kitra, Peter, love these videos as I am also a connoisseur of packing and luggage
THANK YOU
Great to hear!
👍👍👍 looking forward to hearing all about this Japan trip! Cannot wait!!!
Coming soon!
Can’t wait to share it with everyone
Love this guide! Do you guys have the beis small carry on or the regular carry on? Asking for reference haha
We have the regular carryons
If you're going to Universal Studios Japan, you MUST go to Horai 551 in Universal City walk and get a butaman (pork bao). They are the best. They also sell them in Osaka station. They were one of the best things I ate the whole trip.
We got them but at a different location
This video came at the perfect time for me! Thanks for all the tips!
You're so welcome!
I’m going to Japan again for 3 weeks in January and am taking a xl suitcase 🙈
😂
I broke my glasses once on a trip and I only wear glasses no contacts so I was SOL. Now I always pack an extra!
Also I always have a face razor I pack I can’t be a week trip without that it would be bad haha
Also I suggest the tru lemon packs to put in your water they make real lemonade! So good!!
Extra glasses makes sense
Perfect timing with the video! Planning a trip to Japan in April for SW Celebration/vacation and the tech bag and vlogging equipment gave me ideas to put on my Christmas list! Thanks Peter and Kitra!
Hope this helps and hope you have a blast
looove my cotopaxi - had it for years
🙌
Great information! I love to travel and want to take a big trip next year to celebrate the end of a medical treatment. I will definitely rewatch. Thanks!
Thanks so much. I hope it helps
I love when you guys show us your stuff!
Thanks!!!!🙏
🧳 Thank you for this video!! Love the idea of a travel wardrobe,
You are so welcome!
I travel weekly for work and am currently looking into buying some of these suggestions!
Hope it helps!
AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much for this informative helpful video!! ❤❤❤ 😊😊😊😊
Thanks Pamela
I recommend the Ultima brand drink mixes - they have 6 electrolytes and lots of Vitamin C. I find keeping my electrolytes up during a busy travel day helps me a lot with my energy.
Thanks, I’ll have to look into that
Great vid.! One thing I find helpful is to pack a collapsible duffle bag in carry on then after trip is done and I’ve bought to much stuff pack all the dirty laundry in it and keep all the goodies in my carry on
So smart!
The camp snap, I ran to the website to buy! I’ve been trying to find a Christmas gift for my wife and this is literally perfect!!
Hope she enjoys it!
Thank you 🙏
Great video!!! Have all the fun in Japan - can't wait to watch those videos! I miss the konbinis and those sugar coated strawberries. 😉
🙌
I love these videos to the point, I download and save them in UA-cam
Yay

In what respect?
This is exactly the video I needed this week! Yussss! ❤
Hope it helps
I just have to say Peter’s looking really good, I haven’t seen a video from you guys in a couple of weeks and when I saw how much weight you’ve lost I literally took a double take lol. Looking great dude keep up the great work!
Thanks 😊
🧳 loved the vid thanks for sharing all the travel packing tips
Glad you enjoyed it!
☺️ thank you. Even this trip we packed our fears a little and there was a hunch of stuff we never used. Always learning haha
@@OrdinaryAdventures But maybe sometimes you need a little of those things for comfort, haha! Also! That little compartment in the luggage, I usually use it for chargers and smaller stuff, like a jewelry pouch.
Bombas gave socks to my daughter’s elementary school after our whole town burned down. She loved those socks. They are a great company
That’s incredible
🧳 Some great ideas I’ll definitely use on our next trip. Love the backpacks.
☺️
