You only can hold the wheel all the way to the right or the left for no longer than 5seconds anything longer will put more strain on the pump and blow it!

What is the noise im hearing from the power steering pump when you turn the wheel all the way to the right and left?
It’s the power steering pump indicating that it’s working and pushing more power to the steering system.
