It's been about twenty years since I had my last two fish tanks. We had one for years when my brother and I were kids, too. I forgot what a joy it is to feed an aquarium. Good times. Amazing content :)
I'm SO GLAD you feature sparkling guaramis. They are such pretty fish and so fun to listen to talk to each other. Mine mostly bark after I turn the light off at night, sort of like the neighbourhood dogs!

You could do a short video of just Ember, eating and waddling back and forth across the tank. That guy cracks me up.

If you want a hardy fancy goldfish I can’t recommend the humble fantail enough, a truly stunning fish. I do hope you get Ember a little friend as they are social fish who like company.
I second this, I have 6 fantail goldfish around 5 years old. They are huge, beautiful, happy and healthy.

get some java moss in the blackwater tetra scape(the 4 day old one). they will lay eggs in there hopefully. and feed them some bloodworms or some frozen food.

Cherry barbs are the most non-barb barb. They are super chill and peaceful where as almost all other barbs are the ones that have the reputation for aggression, fin nipping and the rest. I keep gold barbs and cherry barbs together. The golds are bullies but I do still really like them.

Hey MD, for your ecosystem tank you should look into finding some copepods. You probably know what they are, but if you don’t they’re tiny little water bug/shrimp things that do a great job cleaning diatom algae and dead plant material, and they would be a great food source for shrimp and small fish. they’re better than something like brine shrimp because they can escape predators somewhat and maintain a population, so long as they get established first. one of my tanks is full of them and I sometimes strain some out to feed to my other tanks
The Farmer fern in the Asian tank seem to be doingquite well MD! 😆

Great tanks, I had an issue with Trumpet snails in my old setup. They'd bury into the aquasoil and I couldn't get rid of them. Assassin snails couldn't keep up. In the end, I transferred all of the fish, covered the top with clingfilm and cranked the Co2 up for 24hrs. That worked!

MD, you should look at Pentazona Barbs, they look like Tiger Barbs but are peaceful (so the opposite of a Tiger Barb but keeping the look)
Your potted tree in the corner is a ficus tree. :-) I say move the albino cherry barbs from the buddha tank and do a just odessa barb tank only. I have some in a community tank but they can be a bit aggressive. They are beautiful and fun to watch. And I feel very sorry for Ember-that poor fish has been in that plant holding tank too long!!! LOL
