i cried for DAYS when i heard about the loss of Doris. I cried so hard when i saw the news i had to call my mother. You'd think it would be my mother or my grandmother crying over her since i'm not even halfway through my 20s. She has just been the brightest light of my life, for as long as i can remember. I used to sing Que Sera Sera as a child every time i had a bad day. She was my inspiration. My role model. Everything i wanted to be as a woman. Even thinking about it now i'm in tears. There was no greater loss for me that year than the loss of Doris. But man heaven gained a hell of a woman.

Doris Day, surely one of the very greatest and most beloved of all 'triple threats' ever. Stanley Donen, an absolute genius. Franco Zeffirelli too. Along with the others, they will live on and people not even born yet will see, study, appreciate and love their legacy.

All the people mentioned here are sorely missed. Although they've passed on, their legacies will continue to endure for generations to come. May they all rest in peace and good will ❤ 😊 If you guys have memories of these people, send them in.

All the people mentioned here will be greatly missed. We're at an age where friends and colleagues are slipping away from us, which is heartbreaking 😭. These are people who'll beat anything that cinemas put out today. Goodbye everyone, we'll see you all soon ❤

Much agreed! It gets worse as we get older seeing the stars we liked as kids dying knowing how they entertained us, but yeah alot of them were truly immortal far as film and television is concerned. They won't be forgotten!

Richard Williams death was truly shocking to me, he had been doing signings at conventions for the last couple of years but i never got around to go and see him myself sadly. It was like Ray Harryhausen for me all over again. a brilliant artist and animator i never got a chance to meet offhand but wanted to! Also the passings of; Peter Mayhew, Robert Forster (Jackie Brown & The Black Hole), director; John Singleton and Rutger Hauer were also a very sad note for me as well. And man i didn't know actor; Danny Aiello died last year either, news of this one shocked even me. Hate to say it but yeah Bafta and Oscars shows aren't really for me, and most of us only tune to see who sadly passed away so we can pay our respects at home. R.I.P. to all listed here.

Doms Danny I can only imagine the UK knows her best from ‘Dynasty’ so perhaps her tribute will be at the television BAFTAs in May?
