Not the funniest but touched on a very sensitive subject (Andrew, that is). Many others would not have gone there with royal members sitting in attendance.

Rebel did start out as a comic on a ensemble show in Australia - I recall her saying in an interview that she was doing that while studying for her law degree. A very smart woman.
that show is called thank god your here and she was hilarious in it and the show was very good.

david mitchell, richard ayoade, robert webb, john oliver were all mates at Cambridge so were Emma Thompson and Hugh Laurie and steven fry (also rowan atkinson whom you mentioned) I think the biggest influence though on their education would be the fact that they shared it with each other.
While Rebel did appear on Thank God You Are Here, that wasn't the show where she got her start.
Her first character was that of a high schooler, who appeared during ad breaks on Big Brother (I know this because that's where I first noticed her).
Her breakout role was in a show called Pizza.
The comedy show you are thinking about was after that, and was called The Wedge. She met Kate Jenkins on the Wedge, and they have worked together since.
I don't know how many times I've watched it now. Rebel cracks me up all the time!
You know they can't do this in the Oscars. Gotta love the Brits.

@@joey.thanes they have had some hilarious Hosts. The visual/ physical, comedy by them has been very good, and some were edgy, too. I love the Baftas though, they are a regular viewing for me every year. Rebel was brilliant.

I've never been a big fan of Rebel but she broke me up last night. It's a rare even that someone can make me bust out laughing but she did it repeatedly. However I don't think HRH Duchess of Cambridge shared my opinion.
