Every one of your recipes I have tried has been great but you really outdid yourself with the cheesecake last week. I made it with German forest honey (gave it a great flavor) and it was so good I had to stop myself from eating it all in one day! I will be making this bread today. Thank you, Sasha, for your healthy and delicious recipes!

I tried the last week cheesecake, but it tastes too eggy :/ What a disppointment...
But I’ll try one of Sasha’s no bake cheesecakes once I finish this one.

I just wanted to say in case anyone wants to try, it works great as well with buckwheat or rye flour! I also added a teaspoon of honey and a couple of teaspoons of ground flaxseeds. 😋
And I don’t have a microwave so I bake it in the oven in individual molds at 360F for 15-20 minutes.
Thank you so much again for this recipe I love playing around with it 👌😊

Delicious! Made this because I’m sick and staying away from gluten. I just used a whole egg; not eggy at all. You can also use almond flour or oat/almond flour mixture.

This was honestly a life saver. Whenever I buy store-made bread it always goes past the expiration date because I think I will eat it and then I don't. With this, this is whipped up quickly, I cut the whole recipe in half to only have one serving (two slices, made one small sandwich), which is just perfect for my low calorie days (combining it with yogurt and other stuff, don't worry, i'm not overdoing the low cal thing).
For everyone who has thought about using up that aquafaba that you saved up from your last time making hummus or you simply don't want to use eggs because you're vegan: it's perfect to use aquafaba instead of the egg whites! I actually simply didn't have any eggs left so I opted for the aquafaba (about 30g per one eggwhite) and it just worked out perfectly!

Hi there! Thanks so much for this amazing feedback! You're so right, it's one of the main benefits of this recipe, there's no more leftover stale bread in my box, and I eat bread only when I truly crave for it. Also it's great to know this recipe works with aquafaba too.

Thank you so much for this recipe I love it so much! I’ve been making it at least once a week!
I also tried replacing a 1/3 of the oat flour with cassava flour and it actually makes it a little less dense and I added a tablespoon of wheat bran for more fibre and a nuttier taste.
Anyway it’s awesome I love your recipes👏 thank you!

Any oats will do the work, and roasting is just optional, for more nutty flavor.

Hey!! You know what ? It's not bad, not bad at all !!! 😆I just made it. When it was done I thought: Oh my God this thing smells terrible, I just spent some good ingredients for nothing, but I went ahead and let it dry and cut it and the texture wasn't bad and then I tried it and it's good !! 🤩👏I put some fennel seeds which I can not really notice very much, may be I could've put more. But it is a great recipe and it's such a relief knowing that it's very healthy. Thank you. I will make the crust-less quiche tomorrow 😉 ... Have you tried making more of this recipe in the regular oven? If so, could you give us the quantities, amount of time and temperature of the oven? I'd like to try making more in one single batch for the whole week, you know?

    • @HowToCookSmarter

Hi there Martha! You're so right, it's not the best piece of bread ever, but it is delicious and it can work as a bread replacement all the time if you ask me. Same thing here, I didn't really enjoyed the smell when done in my microwave, I guess it because of lot of the steam created inside the dough, but after some toasting or making my grilled cheese, oh my, I would love to have one for my breakfast today. Talking about making it inside the oven, I guess you can double or triple the recipe, but I would suggest you still bake yours in some casserole pan or cake pan not really classic loaf pan, I would rather do it like foccacia you know.

Not really, it will just taste more eggy. And in case you do that, use 1 whole egg for this recipe.
