Every one of your recipes I have tried has been great but you really outdid yourself with the cheesecake last week. I made it with German forest honey (gave it a great flavor) and it was so good I had to stop myself from eating it all in one day! I will be making this bread today. Thank you, Sasha, for your healthy and delicious recipes!
I tried the last week cheesecake, but it tastes too eggy :/ What a disppointment... But I’ll try one of Sasha’s no bake cheesecakes once I finish this one.
Thanks so much Mac for your kind words! I also enjoyed the cheesecake too, I really couldn't believe something that easy can be so good:) Hope you'll like this quick bread too.
I just wanted to say in case anyone wants to try, it works great as well with buckwheat or rye flour! I also added a teaspoon of honey and a couple of teaspoons of ground flaxseeds. 😋 And I don’t have a microwave so I bake it in the oven in individual molds at 360F for 15-20 minutes. Thank you so much again for this recipe I love playing around with it 👌😊
Delicious! Made this because I’m sick and staying away from gluten. I just used a whole egg; not eggy at all. You can also use almond flour or oat/almond flour mixture.
I just made this bread to eat with my dinner and was pleasantly surprised that it was so good. I’ve tried other microwave breads but this one is by far the best. Thank you for this recipe. It’s a keeper!
This was honestly a life saver. Whenever I buy store-made bread it always goes past the expiration date because I think I will eat it and then I don't. With this, this is whipped up quickly, I cut the whole recipe in half to only have one serving (two slices, made one small sandwich), which is just perfect for my low calorie days (combining it with yogurt and other stuff, don't worry, i'm not overdoing the low cal thing). For everyone who has thought about using up that aquafaba that you saved up from your last time making hummus or you simply don't want to use eggs because you're vegan: it's perfect to use aquafaba instead of the egg whites! I actually simply didn't have any eggs left so I opted for the aquafaba (about 30g per one eggwhite) and it just worked out perfectly!
Hi there! Thanks so much for this amazing feedback! You're so right, it's one of the main benefits of this recipe, there's no more leftover stale bread in my box, and I eat bread only when I truly crave for it. Also it's great to know this recipe works with aquafaba too.
Finally!!! I have been looking for a recipe just like this! Every other recipe has tons of other ingredients and some are even things I can’t find at the store. But now you’ve shared this recipe and I can finally create some simple bread with just oat flour. Thank you!!! 🙏 This earned you a new subscriber!

Thank you so much for this recipe I love it so much! I’ve been making it at least once a week! I also tried replacing a 1/3 of the oat flour with cassava flour and it actually makes it a little less dense and I added a tablespoon of wheat bran for more fibre and a nuttier taste. Anyway it’s awesome I love your recipes👏 thank you!
Hi Sonia! That's great news, so glad you made these changes by adding cassava flour and wheat bran, actually you improved the recipe. Thanks for sharing!
