I can't believe you just solved my 20yr mystery with MDK. I remember getting to playbit at school on PC and always remembering it but having no idea what it was called either. 😂
Happy to have been of service it’s a great game, even if it is a bit of strange game to be able to play at school lol. Also did you know it also got a sequel?
Thanks, I’m really happy people are enjoying the content! I’ve NEVER seen them on a shelf like this before they’re always normally locked in a glass case.
I'd have snapped up all those wrestling vhs tapes in a heartbeat, I'm currently trying for a complete silvervision WWF vhs collection and I only have one of those that were in that shop
i might have to take the train up to King's Lynn the Retro shops look Epic. I never seen a CEX store that big and it looked pristine as well. The atmosphere is CEX was better 20+ years ago when the stores were run by veteran old-time gamers who you could talk to. Also you could play games usually on a 14" CRT. There used to be a Wimpy in Croydon for the longest time. It closed about 8 years ago and I was convinced it was the last one in the UK LoL.
I looked it up and there like 65 wimpys left in the U.K. lol. I only started visiting CEX in the last few years when I really started collecting again, I’m not sure how long there’s even been a store in my local city. Kings Lynn is well worth a visit just make sure all the stores are open in the day you visit, I know I’ll be going back again soon!
While in cex yesterday there was a seller selling all his retro games and consoles like 1400 in cex vouchers and 1000 in cash . Some very rare games and consoles in mint boxed condition Inc rococo vs terminate which had the shop assistant virtually wet himself as he wasn't even born when it came out .
3:26, 3:47, 4:52 My guy, you should get to know more about Rayman, I mean in CeX they don't have many Rayman games on the console games shelf but I mean when I see this one in Kings Lynn, I feel like I want more Rayman games from the past. Btw, I bought Rayman Legends from CeX in Hounslow, I mean it wasn't too expensive then it was before but the price was £8 which wasn't half bad.
It’s getting harder and harder to find game stores unfortunately or they’re super small and inside sports direct stores but I often go when I find them, if for nothing else to check out for the 3 for 2 games
Wow mate no click bait that does seem like the best CEX around 😅👏🏻 never seen PS1 games on the shelf like that either! I’ll have to check it out in the future!
Nice pick ups there mate, glad you got 2 scratched off your hitlist. Kings Lynn looks awesome for retro so I may have to pop up there at some point. The cex there reminds me of the Ipswich store which is also set over 2 levels. I think Sega Zombie has a retro game and toy stall there as well. As far as burger king goes, Colchester and Clacton still have BK restaurants AFAIK but I don't visit them as I'm vegetarian...
Thanks was super happy to find those 2 especially star fox assault as that’s the first time I seen it this year! I do want to go to Ipswich hunting soon just haven’t had the chance yet so will check out the CEX there and also sega zombies stall. I’m sure there’s literally a handful left around the country but I have no idea where!
What I hate about cex is they use these circle stickers which leave an embossed outdentation when you peel them off , and then you have to deal with the sticker residue it leaves behind. I can't remember the last time I shopped in cex. They are a failing company. What I learned about cex, is their wages are based on the amount of games they are able to sell, alot of time their staff are paid out of the tills. If loads of people dump all their games into cex, ask for cash and nobody is buying they won't be able to pay their staff, it won't surprise me if the company goes bust in a few years. Just like those cash for gold shops.
If that’s true that’s pretty horrible but I’m sure there must be rules in place that make sure they’re paid. But. I do agree with the stickers, recently they’ve got better but a few months ago when they had the stickiest stickers ever I don’t think TNT would of taken those off lol
I would LOVE them to give Dino Crisis the same treatment they’ve given the first few Resident Evil games with a full remake that would be amazing! I can’t wait for the remake of Silent Hill 2 coming soon so pumped for it!
Wow that’s awesome! I keep getting tempted back into VHS collecting, that’s how I first started watching wrestling back in the day, I used to have a full few years of WWF PPV tapes
@@DanTheGamesMan you won't ever find it at cex because they cherry pick what they want to buy in. Jet set radio on the gba sold for £50.00 on ebay, and cex didn't bother to add it because they think people don't want it. All cex can do is watch and learn from their mistakes.

Tht switch game is awful driving controls lol , but it’s one of them really odd quirky ones that might be good to shoot up in price in years would use without strange it is there’s nothing quite like it nice with Starbucks I want to that’s your time myself but sadly it’s never got to manual so that I can’t buy again if it doesn’t come fully hundred percent complete I’m that bad I even asked to have all the DLC sheets and warranty cards even if the DLC Godzilla out today I still like to have them posters are whatever but I still alive I have got one PS3 game I miss imposters are well I wouldn’t of thought it got lost in the post lol😂 , them shops looked epic tho I’ve never been to tht town as I can’t drive no more medical reasons so again collecting is sadly resulted to say 85% Ebay but because I’m really picky with this I asked hundred questions and make sure there’s no scratches on the disk before I buy it But A lot of people don’t even bother answering back to me witch I find strange because I’ve got 100% seen that and all my comments are like amazing and if the game is nice and it’s clean I’ll buy it but I reckon they must get a lot of tire kickers and think oh it’s just another day in the CID
I feel like it may go up in value also as I don’t think it had a massive print run, I’m still yet to try it for the controls lol. I’ve got more that way recently I’m needing to go for complete games as it can sometimes cost just as much for the manual that it does for the actual game and it’s only going to get harder over the next few years to find these CIB games. I normally go for just manual and game but I can understand the desire to go for the absolute COMPLETE experience as I used to love going through the contents of a game on the way home from the store! It can be more expensive buying from eBay, but, that is normally where the best condition games end up and at the end of the day you do get what you pay for.
