India is the most interesting country in the world. Love India from Korea.
Thanks 😊
Korean is also interesting country
💜💜💜
Two of our favorite places, for SURE!
North korea or south korea ??
@@avi......2091 🙄
In Alleppey now, such a beautiful part of the world.
It's so unique!
Go back to north
Your editing skills are increasing day by day, i can see that 👍
That means a lot! Thanks for noticing and commenting.
You're right. We didn't realize in the moment, as steering like this is really common in Western places. We were actually mimicking a captain we had in Italy last year.
I'm not from Kerala but I can tell you that you guys ate the most healthiest lunch in your life. All the vegan dishes and that local fish including the Kerala rice is super super healthy!!!
I believe it! The food is sooooo nutritious. Eat the rainbow, they say, and we did!
I always thought I could spend a lifetime exploring every small town, village, valley, beach, temple, trail, mountain on the western coast that stretches from Mumbai to Kerala. All my travel ideas are to the south of Mumbai. Also I haven't forgotten about the vadapav thing yet :P And hope Hays has been remunerated well for the cuteness index that he brought especially in this video.
We’re going to make up for the vada pav…trust me. 😉
God's own country, one of the jewels in the crown of Beautiful India 🇮🇳
Truly God's own country! Lives up to the name.
I have been there. I can feel why one would go to kerala backwaters over and over again. Its magical ✨️ how time just stops while you stair at everything around passing by. The overall journey is just... ❤️
Kerala will always have a special place in my heart.😊
It really is a special place! Thanks for watching.
Not a grammar nazi but I would only go up and down a stair while not staring at anyone below or above.
my country is changing progressing very fast thank you for coming to india
Tell the little guy, backwaters is a lake where the rivers meet the sea. The lake you visited is called Vembanad Lake (വേമ്പനാട് കായൽ) where 10 rivers meet the Arabian sea, a relatively small state, Kerala has 44 rivers.
Thanks for educating us! That's the best part of making these videos-- when we get to learn from our subscribers.
I loved how your son said "water" in a British accent! :)
He sounds SO British these days! And we're about to be in England!
17:38 driver would have felt disrespected when you put your legs on the wheel. Indians find divinity in everything especially that provides livelihood.
Yep my bad 😞 Pete here. Should have known better.
Ohh finally.. You are in Kerala the number 1 state in India.. Venice of the east.. God's own country 🌹 best state India
No 1 state with 0 industry 30 lakh immigrants and no development. I am from kochi best city in Kerala with potholes and people paid less than what they earn in other cities of India

@@athul7545you are contradicting with your own statement. If Kerala is paying less than other states why would there be any immigrants coming to kerala to work? Brain is not a birth right, you have to earn it.
You guys are definitely living the good life. Its awesome that you can share this moment with your parents.
We feel so lucky to have created so many memories together as a family this year.

Brings back so many memories.
Here massive areas of paddy fields are about 1 to 2 meters below the water level in the backwaters ( below sea level), that is why you see the broad bund (mud walls), Water is constantly pumped out from the fields to avoid flooding. now it is motorized pumps in olden days wooden wheels known as chakram with wooden planks were used to pump the water out 24/7. Other place where cultivation is done below the sea level is in Holland.
Wow that's really cool! Thanks for teaching us about that.
Visit Northeastern part the seven sisters.
You won't regret I'm sure..
There are so many unexplored by foreigners..

Pete said he loves (specifically my) comments, so here I am. In all my years in India I never got to do an overnight houseboat, so I've put it on the shortlist for next Jan and we'll have to see how things play out as we get closer. Right now it's between Hampi and this and I don't look forward to making that final decision, because this looked awesome. Also that fish is one of my favorites and I miss it.
