    Hi there
    Nice video
Want to make one of these myself
What size metal box did you use ?????
    Keep up the good work

Great video but what kind of toroid and winding wire did you use. Thanks a lot.

The wire is nothing special , and you don’t really need the toroid , you could just loosely wrap around the center core , the toroids are just standard ones , nothing special.

    Very nice video,
How come you don't sell those 2 Tone SSB boards in kit form if you don't mind me asking?

I didnt think there would be any request for them.

I used this design and it worked to a certain extent but my frequency meter was 24Hz out, so instead of using the torroid, I used a stiff piece of insulated wire and ran it just off the bottom of the box and now the frequency meter reads correctly. I suppose the answer is, whatever works.....

I dont know it made your reading off , as its just a rf pickup, thats not directly connected to the load, maybe too much signal , maybe not enough , but if your way works then its a win. My design was taken from TRX bench

Hi what are u using for a two tone gen? Did u build it?

I built one a while ago , it’s on my videos a good few months ago

Would have liked to have see the SII and S2I the insertion loss and the dB isolaton of the tap

I don't think Peter at TRX bench even did that .

    51 ohm resistor in series?

Yeh , a slight error only spotted way after making the video .

Excellent tip, but my frequency counter uses a 1Mohm impedance on the input for frequencies below 30Mhz, so I came up with a version using a double throw switch, to switch between 50ohm and 1Mohm resistors feeding the output. Works a treat.😊

Yeh my counter has the same , never had any issues using a 50 ohm terminator, maybe for small signals it would matter .

Have you got a link where I could buy these parts from as I have already blown up one cheap Chinese signal generator or would this not work for that? And a goldstar frequency counter

All parts came from eBay , trxbench did a video on this

      Look for trxbench on UA-cam , that’s the diagram I used .
