As a Y61 owner, the more I see of the Y62 the more impressed I am with its capabilities; it totally trashes the old meme of independent not being any good in the bush. And it's really great to see the impressive accessories/modifications now available for the Y62. When it comes to replacing my venerable Y61, the Y62 will be my first choice. I wouldn't even consider a Landcruiser, but then I've owned nothing but Patrols since 1980.

I'm not a fan of the styling of them, but I've seen em on a few tracks, and I must as a Landcruiser man, they're pretty capable offroad. Good on ya Matt.

The weak point of Y62 is the wheel articulation comparing to a LC200. With good suspensions and huge tyres, it should be.fine. But this will cause other issues besides the reliability, such as roll over risk.
