I got a 2004 Nissan Patrol GU IV 3L TD Auto a few weeks ago. My first car got it for an absolute bargain. 9k for a rig that's never been off-road and no rust at all. The body is near new condition. Absolutely love the thing! Drives like a dream. Got an appraisal and they offered me 20k. Keeping this thing for life!
Why didnt you take the 20k offer. Thats an 11k profit, you wont ever get an offer like that again lol.

Your mistaking it for the LC200 they were running. That heavy beast kept breaking CVs. The Supercharged Patrol towed a camper everywhere and didn't break a CV.

Thats a great build mate, nicest new series Patrol i've seen in a long time.
Good advice from this young fella, telling the younger fellas not to waste money on a car ya can't afford. As lynyrd skynyrd says" take your time, don't live to fast" (Simple Man) Get the best you can afford and always pay cash. Not a good feeling paying for a 50k 4x4 that's being used for spares in a wreckers!

Its a pity these don't come in diesel. I hired the American version of one of these called the Armada and loved it.

Why do they need to come in diesel when they do the job perfectly fine as a petrol without the issues of injectors and dpf's?

Lots of 4wd pages have done comparisons between the twin turbo diesel 200 series and the y62, the figures come out almost identical. It’s a non-argument. Modern petrol motors are just as efficient
@@51MPL people still think petrols arent as efficient/reliable off road as diesels like back in the old days. Why even buy diesels now days with bs emissions laws

Where can I get that front bumper? Do you ship to the states? I am sure it would fit the 2018 Nissan Armada (American version of Patrol)?
Don't fall for the scam of leaky injector pumps on the old TD42 & 'exchange' for a reco pump for a thousand $ etc . . the problem is a literal $2.50 seal on the front of the pump , that you can easy do yourself in half a day with gear puller for the injector wheel (if memory serves) . . it makes it easier if you release the compression . . but I scraped by none the less
