What was said was essentially that muslims could have Jordan and jews could have Israel, much like India was partitioned. I think it's fine. With that being said, the best debaters tend to never debate something that they’re not well educated, so I find it hard to believe that Ben would’ve walked on a stage and have a debate with a college student if he didn’t know what he was talking about. A 30 second clip with not give you enough context to understand his argument, actually watch the debate before assuming he’s wrong. My suggestion is always be willing to learn and have an open-mind. Jews hadn't owned Israel for 3400 years prior to that. They were pushed out of the land by the Assyrians, who in turn had the land taken from them by the Arab Muslims. The Arab Muslims became the modern Palestinians.
Israel was taken from those who had lived there for centuries, against their will, and given back to the Jews, who have subsequently treated anyone but Jews like complete shit since.
They literally just became a Jewish Ethnostate who put Palestinians in a country sized Ghetto, which is bitterly and depressingly sad and ironic considering what Nazi Germany did to the Jews that led to this mess.
Literally all these problems could have been solved in the UN in 1948 just said - no, you can't have Israel back. You can instead have some land in America, we have plenty of it.

What was said was essentially that muslims could have Jordan and jews could have Israel, much like India was partitioned. I think it's fine.
Jews have been persecuted and pushed out of two dozen arab countries and Israel is 0.2% of that land mass, which is a smaller proportion than their numbers versus the arab muslim numbers. The palestinians will just have to move over and join their muslim arab brothers in the arab world. It's not ideal, but the world isn't ideal.

A 30 second clip with not give you enough context to understand his argument, actually watch the debate before assuming he’s wrong. My suggestion is always be willing to learn and have an open-mind.
