@@BoscoAnthonyVancouver That's something I've never known. My family have always been very supportive and caring but 'loving' isn't a word I'd use. We rarely tell each other that we love each other, and that has affected my relationships, like it's a given. Instead it creates doubt. So I need to learn to accept my mistakes and develop self-love and strength. If I can do that then I will be a brilliant partner for someone. That's my aim. That's what I want. I know I have a lot to offer after all I've learnt. I just have to be patient now.

This is a great system to use. I've also found that there were 5 reasons I felt stuck in life:
    1) Believing you can't have what you want.
    2) You're getting more out of where you are now.
    3) Focusing on leaving vs. what it is you are moving on to.
    4) Filling your free time with meaningless activities.
    5) You haven't practiced doing your "vision".
I know these were true for me. I hope they help you too. 🙏

A Ted Talk is finished in just a few short minutes, it is built and practised in over 250 hours, a speaker must be open to learning as they offer this piece of themselves to not just the audience, judges, coaches, themselves, but to a recorded world that will endure, endlessly. It takes a life time of experiences before some of these talks can be built and delivered, some are built on just one. In watching Bosco for years, as well as many other in my inner circle, I love watching each one of them share how they have achieved success, discover purpose and keep cheering on, with solid tools and experience their peers. Becoming mentors themselves. The examples in his talk let us also see how much he values, hope, confidence and how applying things we learn as we go.. reflecting and redirecting, along the way.

I love the phrase "most live by default and few live be design" and even though I didn't hear that phrase in my head I knew it was the driving force behind me and my wife quitting our comfortable jobs and lives in NYC to move cross country and settle in a city that neither one of us had even visited. Marin County California is amazing and this is the hardest period in both of our lives. We both started 2 companies and had 2 kids within 4 years. It needs to be said that the reason most people live by default is because it is SO EASY. WORK WORK and more WORK and then more sacrifice is just part of what it takes to live by design.

    1) find your origin story
    2) write down your vision
3)find your value /have a contract with yourself where your morals stand for
    4) find rhythm to achieve your purpose
    5) everyday ask your self what you meaning today and what difference will create tomorrow...

22 years old. The the last quarter of 2018 has been weird for me. I was studying, my spirit no longer wanted me on campus i felt weird everyday waking up and heading to school...Fast forward to 2019 something told me not re-apply for another its four months into 2019 and I dont know what to do with my life. I feel stuck and I'm counting on my spirit and intuition for answers.

am grateful to hear bosco's talk. and happy to know that bosco has joined my son's enterprise, global rev gen. this is the highlight of my son's vision going back to when he started believing in exactly all the things bosco is on about. in his living room, on a computer, hashing out grand ideas following his ideals that were very similar to bosco's. now, 10 years later, bosco and my son, salvador klein, got together and the future is celebrated by anyone with similar philosophies. it takes courages to get up there and have your say. congratulations everyone who tries!

It’s the same message espoused by countless ted talk speakers. Know who you are and what you want/where you want to go. I’ve still to meet someone who can articulate either yet plenty who find meaning in articulating the same old message, like my life’s purpose is to bleat on soothingly about your need to find your life’s purpose. That really seems to be it! It’s a circle.

    • @BoscoAnthonyVancouver
      @BoscoAnthonyVancouver 6 років тому

Stuart P perhaps the articulation you seek isn’t in the message but rather in yourself? Food for thought... I am appreciative and grateful for the view and comment - thank you

I haaaate the question "How are you." A. nobody cares, and b. all they even want to hear is the default answer of "fine." I get asked that question probably 10 times a day. It's like, do we really have to go through this song and dance all the time?

    • @BoscoAnthonyVancouver

A better question to ask is what are you feeling today? Where is the pain? Whats bringing you joy? Its more intrusive and its the good intrusive we need!

I have watched this over and over again and still counting. Will continue to watch it till it takes root in my heart. The best way to show my appreciation for this speech, is to live it. Complacency is being normalized and applauded while most people demonize the existence of non-conformity out of fear of seeking the truth within us. Because of this, most people just tolerate the life they don’t really want to live just so other people will like them and just fit in. Because of that, they feel emotionally trapped and powerless. That’s when I started my personal development channel and finally think outside the box. I’m glad I did because it taught me so many lessons that I will never trade with anything.

If you don’t have money, you’re going to be bored with life because you cannot do much that you’d be interested in doing. If you have money and you are bored, that’s a different story; that means you are devoid of passion or purpose despite having the resources to do what you might like. I know my purpose and I have a passion. But society doesn’t always allow you to pursue your passion. In my case, my purpose is to take care of my family and my passion is teaching elementary school. But it’s impossible to get a teaching job where I live and I cannot move for a few reasons. Additionally, I’m 53 and it’s hard to get hired fir anything after 40. I wish my problem was not knowing my passion rather than knowing it and being unable to pursue it and therefore I’m bored with life and unable to meet my purpose.
