So many convince themselves they’re in the family, but they’re not. The truly born again have a hatred for sin. Your truly converted if this is you. The others think they’re in the family but they’re not,if sin is okay with them.

🤔 yes, but according to Jesus in John 3:3, 6:37, 6:44-45 & reiterated in John 6:65, we can only repent & place faith in Christ IF God has given us that desire (also John the Baptist in John 3:27) as there are NONE who seeks after God (Rom.3:11) and "men love darkness rather than light" (John 3:19) If we actually study scripture objectively, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, comparing scripture to scripture, in context, we should see that without God's Grace,(Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:3-7) no one would be saved from our SELF/SIN & HIS WRATH....Not based on our will, but HIS WILL (John 1:12-13, 12:37-41)❤️✝️

@@JAMESschwartz1 well, I understand, I didn't believe what I believe now when I first started studying the Bible. It has been very humbling to realize that I am nothing & the only thing I had to offer Jesus was my sin, as He has already done the work. Yes, I have turned from my sin in general (repented)...and continue to repent daily, but my sin is paid for, all by the Faithfulness of Christ & because of the Mercy & Grace of God. I can boast in nothing, except Christ & Him Crucified...I believe Him to be Lord of All, even my Salvation....but, HE had saved me (from Self & God's Wrath) long before I came to understand & believe in His Sovereign Will. ❤️✝️

John explains in 1 John 2:19, They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be evident that they all are not of us.
I confess that @ one time I believed that we could "lose" our salvation, or walk away from it, but now, I realize that true converts may fall, but they will never shuck off their faith. Jesus gives us insight on that matter in the parable of "The Sower & The Seed" aka "The Soils" ❤️🤔

@@sandman9390 well my brother these are the scriptures that I hear all the time in defense of this position, and I am sure that you know some of the scriptures I would use. I would perhaps say that the understanding of the scriptures you quoted differs, I believe that no one who wants to remain saved and genuinely believes will be snatched out of the hand of Jesus. This argument of whether a person was really saved or not is what you guys run to most and when presented with scriptures that clearly show that a person was indeed truly saved you hop on to the next point. Hebrews 6:6 tells clearly that these people were once enlightened, they tasted the heavenly gift, shared in the holy spirit, tasted the goodness of the word of God? How is it that these people wouldn't have been born again or how can you argue that they were not touched by God? My brother.. Think about this.. Many will be surprised in the last day when they claim to have spent their lives doing things in God's name but are denied and cast out? Do YOU PERSONALLY belive that if you continued to live in sin with the knowledge that you once gave your life to Christ will see heaven?

If we are not walking in the light, the blood of Jesus no longer is continually cleansing us. It is possible for Christians to lose hold of their own salvation, or “fall from grace” (Galatians 5:4). “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).
