I am Israeli, Israeli-born. My family has been living here ever since the Second Aliyah, for well over a century. My parents were Palestinian. I still have their British Palestine passports. My father served in the Royal Navy during WW2. As a Palestinian. a quarter of military-aged young men from the Jewish population of Palestine volunteered to serve in the British armed forces during the war. Incidentally, there was no such response from the Arab population. There was even a (little-used, frankly) Palestinian flag in pre-1948 years. Nothing like the one we know today as the Palestinian flag. Actually, it boasted a Star of David. Are you familiar with the famous 1930s "Visit Palestine" poster that pro-Palestinians have adopted as one of their symbols? Little do they know that it was designed by a Jewish Zionist living in Palestine. There were also quite a few Jewish-owned businesses that had the word 'Palestine' in their names. Some survive to this day with their original names. Paltours and Palphot, for example. Purely Israeli companies. Unlike the Jews, the local Arabs were never inclined to call themselves Palestinians in those days. They were mainly a mix of different tribes and clans with no national identity, who regarded themselves as part of Al-Sham (Greater Syria). One wonders whether it was a mistake on our part to discard the name Palestine in favour of Israel, and to leave it there lying around on the floor for the taking, for the Arabs to pick up and abuse. BTW, in most languages there is no distinction between the names, so people easily fall for the false Arab propaganda. In Hebrew, however, there is a distinction. When referring to pre-1948 Palestine, the word is Palestina, and the people are Palestinaim (פלשתינה, פלשתינאים). The state the Arabs want to have today is called Falastin, like in Arabic, and the people - Falastinim (פלסטין, פלסטינים). To your question - for years now, in every comment I make, I make a point of calling them 'Palestinian Arabs', as opposed to Palestinian Jews (aka Israelis). Never just Palestinians.

❤ this. If only people would listen to the truth. They choose to believe the lies of Satan 👿. He hates God’s Beloved Chosen People 🇮🇱
yes we should stop using it as you probably know it was named by the Romans as Syria palestinia 😊
Falastin - I love it. Reminds me of fallacy.
Thanks for sharing. You should print the documents and images and story you just laid out in a book/ since a growing group of people like to erase history… “unburdened by what has been”.

Israelis were Palestinians before their Declaration of Independence. If Gaza and/or Ramallah ever establish a legitimate liberal democratic state, they will probably give it a new name in Arabic.

My usual ways of describing them is: the so-called 'Palestinians' or the Arabs of Palestine. It is an *invented* political label, but because it is in common use you have to describe them in a way that people will know who you mean.
I call them Gazans, but you make a good point.
I refuse to call the that sometimes I’ll call the Pelishtim as invaders in Hebrew and Aramaic.
I refer to them as Gaza people, and Jordanian people.
Gaza was part of Ancient Israel. Where do you think the name comes from? Hebrew!
Therefore it is Israel.
invaders, refugees, migrants,
I think we should absolutely stop using that term, or at least consistently place it in quotation marks (as you've done here).
When engaging with pro-" Palestinians", they will of course be outraged at this. Which is perfect, as it then provides you an ideal opportunity to ask them about what they know of "Palestinian" history & to correct them on some of the points you raise (such as Arafat's birthplace, the origin of the PLO, the Hebron massacre and so much more).

My mother's cousin who is now in her 90s, an American Jewish woman, was always angry with us, when she heard us use terms like Palestinian, west bank, settlements, etc. She would literally freak out when she heard Israeli officials use these terms. There are countries whose name have nothing to do with ethnicities who live in them. Rhodesia, Australia, New zealand I am sure I could line up a pretty long list. Your videos, Mr. Anisfeld, are tempting me to convert to Judaism from Christianity. Am Yisrael Chai
We Jews unlike other religions do not seek to convert anyone. We believe all righteous people go to heaven, therefore there is no need to convert anyone.
You can, but there's no need to convert. Be a righteous Gentile, Ger & Toshav (some call Noakhide or Noahite). Israel is the Light to the Nations. HaShem gives the choice: Be part of the Light or bask in and reflect the Light, like the Sun & moon arrangement. Torah is the ultimate being Light from HaShem. 7 or 613.
Yisrael v'orei takhad hu, Torah ora!!! Israel and their light is ONE. Torah is the Light
PS - another thot that comes to me is that Israel & the Jews need more and more friends in and of the Nations. That may be the precise formula and synergy that HaShem has in mind to bring Geulah.
Go for it. You know it makes sense, even if it doesn’t make you popular.

No such ethnic group as ‘Paliestones’.
As I remember, soviet propaganda for some time after the Six-Day War used the term "the lawful claims of the Arab people of Palestine". The term "Palestinians" was invented later.

Absolutely, we should begin by referring to Gazan Palestinians as simply 'Gazans.' We should do our part to phase out the term Palestinian, as there is no justification for the term's usage. As for Judeah and Samaria, though we are not keen on using the term 'West Bank,' it is possible we actually SHOULD refer to the so called 'Palestinians' in that area as simply "West Bank Arabs."
I've been saying these EXACT statements for years! Keep preaching the truth, brother! I stand with Israel!

I've said for years Israel made a mistkae calling these Arabs "Palestinians" as it legitimizes the association which is incorrect. Under British the "Palestinians were the Jews as Arabs did not want to be labeled as such. Arafat the Egyptian was the one who urged on the use of the name Palestinian to be attached to the Arabs. I see Gazans and Arabs of the "West Bank" (in quotes) and not Palestinian.
