This is so weird to hear. I always wondered what was up with the balance on Wikipedia when it came to Israel and related matters, but I'd never heard anyone else mention it so I assumed it was just me and my biases so I just wrote it off. Now I see this video discussing the very thing for the first time. It's not a recent thing where all the pages suddenly got a mass-edit or that'd stick out in the history; it's been this way forever. This needs to be spoken about more or we'll start doubting ourselves and/or others will get the wrong impression. The rest of the website strives for balance so the blatant one sided view on these topics really stands out. I didn't know that they've been culling or downgrading sources that could be could be cited to support edits to restore the balance so that's a worry. I don't know what to do about this because it's an important resource in so many other ways and provides a jumping off point to find sources of information. If this topic is so obviously skewed then I wonder which others are too. I'll have to run off and find the Tablet article on this now. This is so weird to hear. I always wondered what was up with the balance on Wikipedia when it came to Israel and related matters, but I'd never heard anyone else mention it so I assumed it was just me and my biases so I just wrote it off. Now I see this video discussing the very thing for the first time. It's not a recent thing where all the pages suddenly got a mass-edit or that'd stick out in the history; it's been this way forever. This needs to be spoken about more or we'll start doubting ourselves and/or others will get the wrong impression. The rest of the website strives for balance so the blatant one sided view on these topics really stands out. I didn't know that they've been culling or downgrading sources that could be could be cited to support edits to restore the balance so that's a worry. I don't know what to do about this because it's an important resource in so many other ways and provides a jumping off point to find sources of information. If this topic is so obviously skewed then I wonder which others are too. I'll have to run off and find the Tablet article on this now.
