    Some super GMs across the world are Ling Diren, Carlnus Magsan, Nakaru Hakamura, Girish Ani, Gudit Vidrathi, Prangyababu Rameshnanda etc...
    And the highest rated player - Magnes Kalicharan

    This man knows better than anyone about world championship matches.
    He played WCH matches against people like Kasparov, Karpov, Kramnik, Carlsen, Gelfend, Topalov... etc.
    His entire career was built around playing WCH matches and winning 5 times.
    Who else better to guide Gukesh on his historic journey...

    As a Pakistani I'm very happy to see Indians playing so well at the highest level in chess. I followed the event closely I watched agadmators commentary on each match.....I was actually rooting for Pragg and he had his moments, but Gukesh played excellent chess throughout the tournament. Congratulations to him and to indian chess fans!

    So, a bit of history for people who came to chess recently. This is not new in Chess. So the strongest country by far has been Russia because they have produced so many good players. There is something called the Russian school of chess. But that was started by a Russian world champion called Mikhail Botvinnik. All the famous Russian chess players you know are products of that school. He personally taught and when he got old, the new players taught. Anand is the patriarch of the Indian school of chess, and Gukesh winning this has stamped the authority of WACA in the world chess scene. Kudos to Vishy sir. He has done something that very few players can do. Make a difference in the world. Even Magnus hasn't been able to bring a chess revolution in Norway, despite being a really strong player.

    • @MarathaAbhishek
      @MarathaAbhishek Місяць тому +1

      May be magnus is still in the form and he is young. I guess he already inspired millions of people. And it is just matter of time that Norwegian school of chess will be there on global stand.

    • @nabangshusinha1519
      @nabangshusinha1519 Місяць тому +1

      @@MarathaAbhishek It could be. But that's not a guarantee. Well, Magnus is also not the most extroverted person, and I don't think he likes teaching. But perhaps, after his career is over, he'll start his own school. But something tells me that after his career is over, he'll not remain in chess. He'll find something else.

      Really? So why did Sachin get one when there was Gavaskar and Kapil and Dhoni and Kohli? And what really did Sachin's success do for cricket that the others didn't?
      Compare that with Anand's success and what it has done for chess in India.

      You nailed it.Sachin ji is great and im a huge fan of him.but Anand ji is a level above.where im living nobody know who Sachin is but nearly every one knows who Vishy Anand is.when Sachin started playing cricket was well established sport but Anand did it all by himself with no support whatsoever ,even India had no GM.Some ppl consider Anand as the greatest,bcz he stood up in a country where chess was nowhere to be seen.when a Auterian wins Alpine skying,it is no wonder,but if a Jamaican wins,its a wonder.same Anands achievment as compaired to other countries.Anand also motivated Iran after he won against Shirov in Tehran 2000.now Iran is one of strongest in chess.

    He passed it to a dozen players who are incredibly talented and will challenge any world class player in future..❤

    The fact that there is a group of players that inspire and challange each other speaks for India. In 1989-and for a few years Sweden managed to break the chineese tabletennis dominance. Whith the same concept, we had 5 players in the top 20. We won three world-team champioships in a row and two individual gold medals and also olympic gold medal. If the indian players work together they have a chance to dominate chess in the future.
