Gukesh's chess game is boring, methodical and lacking panache. Magnus is in a different league, in his games you wait for moves whose strategic sense is reassuring that chess will not die to a draw. Or games such as the one from 2021 with Nepo, 136 moves long, are watched with interest. Yesterday, while watching the broadcast and commentary, I was waiting impatiently for the screen to change to the Fabi Nepo match. The World Championship match makes no sense for Carlsen, let Gukesh reach 2900 fide and then you can admire him.

"Embarrassing" someone displaying his culture proudly and others mentioning it is embarrassing now 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
His maturity and mental peace comes from religious following and acts. He just didn't want to mention it there because of people like you. It is a major factor, and y'all can only cope about it.

The incompetence from this so called journalists is astounding. The kid just won the candidates at 17 and they’re asking the same stale questions they’ve been asking for the past 25 years. Especially that woman from Al Jazeera wtf was that question about India 😅😂

People miss that gukesh was joint top in wik ann jee( which included that silly draw against pragg due to unintentional repetition).
He just lost in 2nd tie break in that tournament.
This is not an anomaly but he has been on a tear since December since Chennai open, tata steel at wik ann jee and now this.

Ding isn't shaky. In fact he's a very solid player. Not to mention extremely humble and well mannered. It would be a great feat to defeat him. I still want Gukesh to do it because of his age and him being a fellow countryman. But I would feel bad for Ding no doubt. His d5 move vs nepo still gives me the chills.
