The chasing scene between Definite and Shamsad was an epic one and it was not staged. It was shot in real traffic. At the railway line Definite fell down while boarding the moving train. It was risky.
Yeah. Agreed. Especially in movies like this where so many characters, lot of things happening. She brings her understanding to it slightly differently than Jaby and Syntell and I hope she does more gangster movies reaction with them. Just adds another layer to reaction videos
This movie was far ahead of it's time. All the legendary actors were there in this film when they were not so popular. This will always be the epic film of bollywood ever.
@@Kem____paalty16 it was Anurag Kashyap and I expect no less. This was still an experimental movie for 2012. But it was pure art. It’s the same year we got movies like Ek tha tiger and Son of sardar.
@@littlesushie yeah still it was great execution I appreciate anurag kashyap for that. Indeed I belive after gangs of wasseypur only people started give more importance to realistic cinema rather than larger than life depiction of characters.
You know what is one of the great think about this film? Everyone who acted in this film, most of them are considered the best actor/actress that bollywood can offer today
The gun getting stuck part was improvised.. Definite was supposed to shoot at Shamshad but the gun got stuck. Anurag, instead of cutting the shot, let it play. Rajkumar improvised it and reacted as Shamshad would have in real life..and that's how that chase sequence got shot!!
Sound Engineers had done a marvelous job with Faizal khans home ambush sequence, the intensity of bullet flying and ricochet sound I had never heard so realistic sound in Bollywood or Hollywood and the "one take" direction make this sequence very intense...And just recently a Hollywood director recreated same " One take" sequence in movie "Extraction"...
That scene where definite's gun get stuck was not in the script, at the shoot the gun literally got stuck and whatever the chaos went in that time was all improvised. And in the final cut they decided to have that.
The scene where Definite's gun gets stuck, was improvised. According to the script Raj Kumar Rao had to come immediately after Definite fires to continuous shots but after the first shot Definite's gun got stuck and Raj Kumar Rao went into a confusion and then he just decided to enter the scene at a random moment and then Definite started pointing his stuck gun at Shamshad and that's how we got that epic scene.
The OPENING SCENE OF PART 1 and the same scene in PART 2 was shot at the same time One camera was following Sultan outside the house and another camera was following Faizal Khan inside the house. And they have to sync accordingly
The Gun getting jammed wasn't in fact planned. It all happened by sheer coincidence and then Rajkumar Rao throwing a bucket at him and running on the streets was also not planned, all that happened in the moment by the virtue of great actors and a brilliant director who didn't say CUT at that moment and let it rolling.
When i first watched it in 2013 i didn't recognize rajkumar rao at all, same goes with "Talaash" He has come a long way Launda Naach, Scooter chase & Kashmiri apple were best scenes of him😆
This part has lot of long takes and it's been long I watched this one and glad m watching again with u guys..... Also both these part has all amazing actors u can think of......
The guy who plays Definite is the writer of the movie.. and it's his first movie... He had only one condition to give the script that he will play this role.. like Stallone played Rambo.. and you will realise at the end of the movie.. why!!
Fun fact: The guy who plays Definite also co-wrote Gangs od Wasseypur and he's the one who came up with the story inspired by gangsters in his hometown.
Fun fact : Definite wrote the story of the 2 movies. It all happened in front of his eyes It’s a true story. Anurag Kashyap then honed it into a script
The time zone of this film is shown acc to the release time of some iconic Bollywood movies For eg. to show the 70s 80s era they referred the Amitabh Bachchan films (angry young man reference) Then to start with 90s they started with Salman khan's Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) films reference Mid 90s - Again Salman’s *Hum Aapke Hain Koun* (1994) styling clothes to definite Then comes the iconic 2003 from where definite is being shown in Salman’s *Tere Naam*(2003) Hairstyle & clothing style
Definite is the guy who started the script wrote the story And the scene where his gun failed wasn't in script and the chase scene too they improvised that
FYI this movie based on real life incidents near the village of zeishan quadri who plays the role of definite in movie and also he wrote this movie so anurag kashyap gave him that role.
What Syntell fell about how execution was going down of sultan, that is exactly wat I feel when I have to wait 24 hrs for a new part of MOVIE reaction. Just expressing my frustration, this part by part reaction is cool but they should be on same day even though I understand difficulty of editing this videos I still feel that way.

Twice, I think. Anurag Kashyap was not happy.
It wasn't in the script too

The gun getting stuck scene at Samshad's place was not in script but was an improvisation by Rajkumar Rao. Rajkumar Rao told it on a birthday video.
he described it well in AIB Masterclass ft Rajkumar Rao
He's my favorite Indian actor.
It was kashyaps plan so that even Definite improvises. Amazing stuff
Achara's IQ is beyond the roofs. She is so intelligent man, she always picks up on so many minute details amd even remembers them.

Lmao IQ high because she notices little details in movies 😂
IQ has nothing to do with this lol.
Also asian culture is very similar to indian subcontinent I guess it helps
