Who else loves Jonathon lol!! Because or these videos and the Android game from Lat 64 my game has drastically improved and I started buying lat 64 discs to thank and support them.
Pearl is a fantastic favorite for under stable flights. Have opto and prime. Opto In my bag. Fuse is a great combo with it - you can put it on any line with not much power. Fuse in Gold plastic is incredible woods disc with confidence and control. Compass is great to if you control the flat release. In Washington State we lots of wood shots. Great Mids are a must!
Good to see I'm not the only one who really intends to throw straight ahead and the disc just ends up in the trees on the right 🙈 I find the Fuse more understable than -1 by the way. I use it for backhand throws where it needs to fade to the right, or even backhand roller shots.
Haha no I do that quite often, haha. Interesting, I think it´s hard in general to set flight numbers for every player. You might just have a fast arm :)
Been playing for a couple years now. Recently I’ve started getting more sucked into this sport. Watching your videos has helped my game significantly. Thanks
@@Steventhrowsbirds My buzzz is super useful for tunnel shots and hard line shots in the woods. It holds straight pretty well for me. Admittedly, it took me a bit to get used to it. My first round with it, I kept grip-locking it.
Bro, your personality is so chill and entertaining. Not to mention, your game is starting to come around. I cannot imagine having all these incredible resources helping you develop. Good luck and keep slinging that plastic.
One thing I like to do is to throw understable discs with hyzer, stable discs straight or with slight hyzer, and then overstable discs with anhyzer. Allows me to see the different shot shapes and let the discs get more distance.
Great stuff! Another one that somehow got by me, that 2 now. Glad it found its way to me! I've been adding some Lat 64 frisbees to my bag, thanks to you! Y'all are terrific!

Great as always! Understable mids for me are Bounty for backhand and Tursas for forehand. Emac Truth for my stable mid and Anvil for my over stable shots. I don't see any of these discs leaving my bag anytime soon...
I started disc golfing this year and my first putter was a L64 Pure. I buried the first 2 out of 3 putts first go around with it. It just flies so well and love the stickier material!
For me is the best and THE ONLY midrange compass. Straight release - perfect laser straight 65m with very small fade. Hyzer release - great smooth 60m hyzer. Anhyzer release - great smooth anhyzer, in 90% with little fade at the end. Great for straight forehands too. Also my first disc ever, and my first (and for now last) ace was with my first compass. So i love it!
I totally agree that Fuse is the most versatile midrange in the Trilogy. You can do anything with it, except big forehand hyzers, as the disc is too understable and it flips up. But please, Jonathan, sneak in to factory and set all devices to Fuse for next few weeks :D And the content is moneeeeey boys, it really helps to choose the right discs for begginers, thank you for great job!
Fuse is excellent disk, was heart broken when lost mine last summer and they are bloody hard to get. Luckily found new one, but it is not the same for a while. The flight path is just excellent for late flips when I could not reach with forehand. That's my understable, for straight I have Compass, straight #2 Emac Truth (Trilogy at least) and for overstable a Pain.
Love the videos, guys. Hilarious and informative - exactly what these types of videos should be. The Pure is the only L64 I've ever thrown but I love it ( yes, I realize it's not midrange :D), my go-to putter now. I'll be looking to try out some more of your discs soon! (Maybe the Fuse?) Thanks again, take care!
I fully approve of your mid range selections... for you. I have bounced back and forth between the claymore and compass as my neutral mid range but landed on the claymore. As soon as I threw the trust... I put it in my bag... great disc and the plastic feels great. I don't have an understable Mid at the moment... I use a beat up Claymore or one of my Pures in that spot. I hear so much love for the fuse... maybe I need to try it. Fun to watch you build your bag
@@Latitude64 Well that is an interesting question. Discs beat in because they hit stuff. I guess the worse you play the faster they beat in 😂. mid ranges are a mix of 3 brands my understable disc, nicknamed Pandabear, the pearl. straight flying is the innova mako3. just insane how it just keeps its line and never seems to wanna fade overstable is the innova Roc3. absolutely love it for side arm flex shots and the joker disc that can do too much, the westside tursas. standing still, slightly hyzer, throw pretty hard and it just makes the perfect s curve. but taking a runup and throwing at hyzer and it just flips up to flat and stays there.

I really like the fuse. Put three in your bag the heavier it gets the straighter it flies. I use them for control anhyzer. The more turn I need the lighter the disc. Then the heavy fuse is great for the really straight hyzerflip. Great for tunnels.
compass all the way for me. My husband practices with it on the course with me. And he wants it.. badly. He has no chance. :) Fuse I don't use much as there are not many turn over shots on our local course that are needed, but I love flicking it forehand when approaching 40m / 130 feet to a basket.
Jonathan, when you feel like you're throwing high, try this, on your follow through, try to put your throwing hand in your back pocket on a backhand throw, this will help you try and focus on keeping your arm straight out instead up finishing up high.
