Same. She had probally the best nilfgaardian empire hand in the game, she had 4 spies. And i had 2, she picked my 2 spies up and used them, i had no pick up thingies(forgot the name) so she pretty much got 6 spies and i 2. Had no chance at all bcs of her stupid spies. I detest nilfgaardian empire even tho i use it sometimes bcs its really good. Wish i used the skellige deck against her tho, shame i forgot to load a previous save file to try some other decks against her, but whatever
@@therealpepefrog4975 yeah I defeated her using northern realms luckily I got 3 decoys at the match and I didn't redraw them but in my case she started to throw the spies as I throw my dikjstra spy I used all 3 decoys to get the spies and kept them as she had a leader ability to pick a card from our discard pile then I defeated her I used like 8 to 9 spies and got most of the deck in my hands and there it was easy to win
Sasha was my biggest nightmare here. I came to this tournament with some standard cards with only few some good ones. It took more than 10 times to beat her, with tons of luck at the end. But there was another pain in the ass. I was playing on death march NG+ with shitty eq & I was screwed everytime in fistfight with half-elf and it took ~30 times to beat him. Such a lame start for a gwent.
А как на счёт партии почти без карт героев, с инженерами, картами с силой в пять и выше, с максимумом шпионов и лекарей в три раунда с максимальным набором карт в руке, и итоговый счёт в третьев раунде?🤔
This was done pre-blood and wine and there were ways to get up to 5. - 2 in the starter deck - 1 in White Orchard, Innkeeper - 1 in Midcopse, sold by the Merchant - 1 in Crow's Perch, sold by the Quartermaster
Did they lower the image quality on the cards? Now they look vastly inferior to those ones shown in the video, especially the Yennefer one. Edit: Your starting hand RNG is godlike, if I have gotten a single one of those during my time in that tournament I wouldn't have had to save scum to beat Sasha.
What is it with 2 of my favorite games having a card game as the best mini game inside them. First Witcher 3 with gwent And then Final Fantasy XIV with triple triad. I know triple triad started in Final Fantasy VIII, but I don't like FFVIII.
I freakin hate gwent. It always forces me to lose. I win the first round but on the second it doesnt give me cards as if I run out of cards even though i had like 15 more
No. 1 thing to keep in mind is to make opponent waste cards. First round is the most crucial. Play cards in a way so that you are always 1-3 points higher than opponent. If you are too low, they will pass; If you are too high they will pass. The computer still likes to just pass the first round if it goes long. So snatch up that round. But if you keep on with the strategy I mentioned, opponent will have very low amount of cards left, preferably below 5. You don't want them having 8-10 cards after 1st round. That can complicate things later on. For the 2nd round, keep playing safe. Put down heroes or small cards. Computer will keep putting cards even if it's a lot ahead. They won't pass until they have only weather cards left. If at that point, their score is too high to beat, then just pass the round. In final round, even if you have only a 1 point card left, you'll win cause they have nothing left. Also look out for those SCORCH cards. Don't stack big cards right at start. And of course spies, decoys and medics are the real game changers. So always have as many of those in your deck as possible.
First round win Second round lose, opponent wasted cards Third round win, enemy has no cards. Now if you have such a advantage, press on to the second round and win
When you know you already won, but you keep dropping more cards on the deck to make sure the opponent know who’s boss
Black Bird I do that a lot lol. No point leaving the cards.
hell yeah me too
doing that to the elf prick is funny as hell
That haircut is a crime
*Initiates dialog*
Geralt: not interested, i'm here for gwent
I actually found Sasha the hardest.
Philip Greenaway i beat sasha using monster deck
Yet used monster deck throughout the game

2 things

Don't commanders horn early

So satisfying when someone passes and you get to annihilate them
You shouldn't be having 4x blue stripes commando cards. The limit is only 3

@@persinders Probably it was a bug, because even i had 4, but i used to use only three because it looks like to me to cheat 😂
I like how he is Gwent master, but shitty fistfighter..
Fr man even turned the difficulty down to the easiest one possible and still almost got beaten
Why no Dandelion instead of one horn?
Dandelion isn't as flexible.. sometimes I don't draw all 3 horns..
Where do I get the thaler card
Andrew 123 From an Innkeeper somewhere in skellige, not sure where tho
I only have 3 white stripe commanders and two dragon slayers... weird
Fistfighting was bad
Jay X. My guy nearly lost to just the story difficulty like 🤦🏼♂️
Yes, the hardest part of Death March. It takes 3 punches to knock me out, yet like 20 for them.

+sedat arslan In my deck. Or do you mean how to get him?
i got it no problem
damn i got cancer ...at 22:00 you should just pass and and use a 1 card lol

It takes some planning to get good at gwent.
