I can't believe he said that, he acts like the new generation who doesn't like the outdoors, I thought he would like nature, but it was still hilarious.
I love seeing how technology has changed since this. The Oculus shown is obsolete compared to the more powerful and wireless Quest. The torch he shows is amazing... and not very effective compared to my pocket burning blue laser. I've used a burning laser to start campfires for a a while now... but back when this was shot that wouldn't have been possible. The lifestraw is still used though. I never go camping without at least one.
I feel like Richard is playing a character on Travel Man considering the same guy I've seen in all of these episodes would never have agreed to get into that tiny helicopter.
I think the poor would prefer non-human sustenance. Also, anyone who refers to people that earn a wage below the average as "the poor" should be fed to the poor.
You can easily make a fake window or skylight using old computer screens, remove the light dimming filter and they are as bright as a normal window opening.
The style of aircraft is called an autogyro or gyroplane. The exact make and model is hard for me to find because it seems like most ultralight aircraft are homemade.
I wouldn't trust any Wicked Lasers products, they're an atrocious company, and somewhat notorious within the laser enthusiast community for their terrible, frequently overpriced, often faulty devices, and sucky customer support. Besides, for about that price you could get a half decent 1-2 watt blue laser, 3 if you're lucky, and even if you defocused the beam a bit it could still burn 😁
For lighting a fire like that (not the torch one, well i think for the torche one too) you can get into deep trouble in my country. And watching this he didn't even bother to wipe the leaves away so it wouldn't spread...
Yes, I wasn't sure if I wanted to comment on that but that's Basic forest fire safety ... I didn't expect him to build a pit but he basically built his fire over the bed of leaves.. insane
um just go outside, its great for people with mental health problems, also science people, says that they have proven that going out side helps you relex and relaxing can help you live longer. i love going outside.
That Swiss army knife has the handy feature that if you tie it to a rope and spin it around your head, it will mutilate any living thing within immediate reach
Oh so you're the expert? Or did you get that "fact" from a Swamp People tv show or better still, did you pull it from out of your arse? The ONLY way to kill an alligator? I was going to use this semtex or a couple of grenades, or a landmine but hey you're the expert.... joker.
Richard is great in the IT Crowd, but all the other shows he does I don’t really like him, he is annoying, seems to be trying to be someone he is not, is he always acting nowadays
That immediate zinger when presented with a picture of the queen. Wish everyone responded like that.
God I love Richard Ayouade.
Richard Ayoade is one person I would love to spend an awkward afternoon next too.
I guarantee he'd hate every second.
2:45 *"this is someone who colonised you in the past"*
😆, I love this phrase.
There's an island in the Pacific where they worship Queen Elizabeth's husband Phillip. Google it.
White NT laughs nervously.
Richard Ayoade is excellent. He's got the more practical Midas touch, where everything he touches turns into metaphorical gold.
Strange 👍
I like the inside, its where I live. 👌

I love the Great Indoor too, Richard. I too.
Could not stop laughing XD I love his sense of humour lol
Benedict Allen is so massively underrated - we should see move of him! Done so much more than Bear Grylls
I feel like Richard is playing a character on Travel Man considering the same guy I've seen in all of these episodes would never have agreed to get into that tiny helicopter.
James Morris I feel the same and do believe he didn’t really fly in it they just edited him riding in it for a bit!!
Anyone who pays 15,000 pounds for a digital window needs to be fed to the poor.

@A_Mad_Khajiit i see you prefer licking boots.
Two legs good, four legs bad.

I'd seriously go human if I could. It tastes like pork, which is fine by me. BBQ and ham for me.
That would be suboptimal
0:10 Love that cut
2:55 so funny its basically "thats not a knife THIS IS A KNIFE"
~*finds grass sandals on amazon and adds them to cart*~
I want more gadget man
"This is someone colonized you in the past"
it's funny because it's true 😂😂😂😂😂
That was the funniest 😆.
What was that light aircraft he was flying in at the beginning of the clip
It's a machine that uses speed to create lift.
@@TheBushdoctor68 But do you know what its called?
@@Soutpiel78 I think it's called an Ultralight.

I found out what it's called.
It's the Arrow Copter AC-20 Gyrocopter with the tail no. OE-XAE
i wonder what Ron Swanson would say to Richard
A fictional character wouldn't say anything, not being real.
I like how the knife for when you're really in trouble is hidden in a bum bag.
Yeah. Thats going to fucking work, isn't it? 😂
Travel man outro?
Spend 130 quid on a torch. Realise that a 20 quid torch and a disposable lighter/pack of windproof firelighters does exactly the same job.
"He discovered two tribes"... much to their surprise, as they had no idea they did not discover themselves...
Look up the other definitions of the word discover.
"Sub-optimal." Just got Orwellian up in here.
I have a life straw. I also live indoors
this survivalist is very interested to see the gadgets work
That looks like a sewing kit. Lmao 🎶😂😂😂😂😂😂
That footage is most certainly NOT captured using a rift. You can tell it's a controller by the jerky way the camera moves.
The torch is really cool, but why wouldn't the other guy take the water pump? Seems like a useful option.
It's gigantic and will weigh you down
Yeh too big.
@@thehonkerman Fair enough, maybe too big for a fanny pack; but it'd be useful to supplement purification tablets and would fit in a back pack.
btw, there are exponentially more powerful flashlights out now. The imalent ms12 says to boast a 100.000 lumen turbo mode
the sawyer filters are much more compact and can filter a lot more water..

Survival Russia has a "less than optimal" review of the lifestraw.
i was wondering who would make fun of who

Did the expert just show a 4 inch blade to kill an animal which is famous for only being killed by a perfect shot behind the head?

No it's from personal experience...I've also found crushing the skull with a sledge hammer works just as well
I wouldn't recommend trying it though lol
I could also stab it in the tail and wait for it to die from infection
ummm... Richard... that's not a pen knife
He thicc
Could it be...
First?
No, that was done by Someone Else.
