There’s a film in Tamil. Called Mota Siva ketta Siva where there’s a comedy scene joking about gang rape via a female comedian. Film came out in 2017 with no real push back. Only from a certain few Tamil reviewers. The film continues to air on suntv without any cuts or mutes. Baffling really.

@@sameerbhalerao431 my friends forced me to theatres for salaar. It's not my kinda film and the theatre made it worse. There were loud whistles and scream for the rape scenes. It made me so uncomfortable that I was sitting among them. Like bruh , the scene is asking you to condemn it not be excited.

You don't how they defend their work, director of film Mr. Bachan openly justifying their film making, and coming with nonsensical excuses for an example there is a dance step where Raviteja puts his hand inside heroin's innerwear and the director in an interview told he also felt the step is unnecessary but he couldn't say anything as the choreographer is a famous guy.
Fun fact is the director blocked at least half of Telugu twitter users for questioning his illogical and mindless film making.

Going to a movie after seeing a review is utter stupid. For people to get the context, did you see the JCs Last Supper performance supporting LGBTQ+ at the Paris Olympics? Do you think it's Kid-friendly? If you ask, they will say Artistic Liberty.

In a country where movies like this, Animal, Arjun reddy, etc are made to attract the male audience and usually such characters are hailed as "Sigma or alpha male", there is no wonder that rape is one of the leading crimes in India.

In a recent Audio function, Puri Jagannadh mentioned that Rajamouli's father, V Vijayendra Prasad called him and said he needs a help from Puri. Puri asked what is it, and he said that whenever Puri makes a new movie, he should share the script with him before making it. The reason why V Vijayendra Prasad said that to him is because he couldnt see Puri failing,a director like Puri who once gave hits like Pokiri, Amma Nanna o Tamil Ammayi, Neninthe, falling so low hurts bad. V Vijayendra Prasad feels sad for Puri.😢

Telugu women should raise their voice against these kind of movies. Unfortunately Most of the telugu women I know personally just laugh and enjoy these movies and don't realise the effect it has on many men in the society. Sometimes i feel like Telugu filmmakers don't give a single shit about telugu women. Movies like these have played role in shaping minds of gullible men in India. When some unfortunate incident happens people outrage but hardly any outrage over such crass movies which in the name of entertainment and storytelling promote the worst kind of female objectification by male leads. And even if movies are stopped but during school age or even after that, children may have company who have or even he himself would have made or enjoyed many wrong jokes or come around misguidance or even in our society many small wrong things may be happening to which he would be exposed. How would u stop that ?? Stopping a movie is not even 1% of the solution. The root is educating and most importantly removing these "Taboos" and change the mentality of stopping the interaction with opposite Genders. These are the root causes. If one movie is banned then the other group also gets license to ban a really good movie. A Movie maybe Good, Bad, Hit or Flop but I never support banning. I also crossed that period of time when children get attracted to opposite Gender very strongly but from then till now I know what are the boundaries and even I have been exposed to many wrong contents too but that didn't affected me. So, that's the root cause.

I remember my dad told me he watched this movie when it was randomly on TV. He couldn't shake off the interval block with the helicopter blade spinning with the words "Dual SIM Card. Activated" from his mind. Then we saw the travesty till the climax and we went "Matlab Kuch Bhi". Everyone I know hates this movie and the same people were surprised this got a sequel.
