- I want to root for outsiders especially leading movies in #bollywood but you have to call a spade a spade and this is exactly my feeling with #yudhra starring #siddhantchaturvedi #raghavjuyal and #malvikamohanan in lead roles. The movie has been produced by #excelentertainment and was aimed to project Siddhant as a stylised hero but really missed the mark. What made #farhanakhtar greenlight this project? Raghav in Yudhra wasn't even 20% of what he was in kill. And why was Siddhanth sounded like an hindi dubbed voice which was so weird and disconnecting😅
I thought they would fix Siddhant voice in the movie but that's not the case I guess.
The only hope left for Sidhant is now Dhadak 2 to make it big as Comercial hero.

I think Siddhant is talented and has great potential. He's gotta be careful not to get stuck in the "cocky boy" roles, in my opinion. He plays those parts very well, but needs to show more range. Also, I was watching a recent interview he did with Lalantop, and I couldn't help but notice a slight change in his attitude. He seemed to have a chip on his shoulder regarding the industry and the people in it. Maybe I was just reading too much into it. I hope his next release is successful.
Why is it so important to show range even before you understand the layers of one range. There are so many layers in a cocky boy and so many styles to portray it.

Siddharth Chaturvedi had so much potential after Gully Boy and Inside Edge but it’s like his career just fell off a cliff.
after a bang like Gully Boy, its tough to keep the same momentum but it has not been smooth sailing at all since then
I didn't see any spark from him in gully boy. His scenes hardly brought any high in the movie. The best part of that movie was Alia and the best high came from the baap beta scene in the end.
I never saw any potential in him he's always been mediocre at best idk why he keeps getting projects

I feel it's more important to concentrate on what the role requires than being focused on that particular domain itself. I hope the industry takes his intensity of performance and calm and composed nature that he adopted to play a commando rather than his physical skills because emotions get emotional response, not action.
If Lakshay gets good movies and good script characters to play he will deliver the goods he is a good actor he can act and he can fight too even though he is not a martial artist like Akshay and vidyut he looked amazing in kill

The synopsis of the movie about Jammy kinda follow the similar beats of Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India. Only difference Allu wasn't undercover, he had to do somethinge and get a signature from a therapist who was his father so he can get back into the army.

Similarly, her roles are also mostly irrelevant, you'd have noticed that in Master.

People were worried on social media that siddhant's carrier might go downhill because of his comment against ananya. But the matter is complete opposite he's being backed by zoya, farhan since start of his career, got called on koffee with karan despite trolling ananya for it and now doing a film produced by karan johar 😶😶
Theatre was full of because of Raghav.. After movie, depends.

Writing is one of the important part of making movie not its most important. It's like what Kurosawa said a great movie is made when everything comes together. Think about Tom and Jerry and think about this line 😉

Tbh Ananya Pandey is only trolled because she is a star kid and gets opportunity easily. She is actually a sweet personality behind scenes and does nothing controversial. She is a decent actress and not even mediocre as everyone claims though their are rooms for improvement.
I don't think her saying "she struggled" in the interviews was controversial, it was rather kinda dummy statement since she gets opportunity more fast, and nothing serious.
I think I make better quality videos on my channel than many of today's movies. 😂😅

@@SuveerMalhotra Thank you. I use a combination of GoPro and Dji camera. Still long way to go in terms of video processing though, I'm still learning.
The main issue here is the direction, not Siddhant. In fact, he's probably the only one in that age bracket who could pull this off. So, whether he did a good job or not isn’t the question. The real fault lies with the director-an actor is only as good as their director. And don't even get me started on the screenplay; it felt all over the place. The pacing and momentum dropped randomly for no reason.
when that romantic song dropped, I was like HUHH, who in their right mind would ruin the momentum! Siddhant is however a mixed bag for me. I felt like both him the makers were on a different page. He was doing the full manic crazy guy but it was not backed by enough angst in the writing!
I feel Shahid Kapoor is a really good example of being a character actor and who can switch to mass cinema too!!! Also to a great extent Ranveer singh and Ranbir kapoor too!! Also I would definitely say siddhanth needs to get smarter with scripts he selects.
Shahid Kapoor is the most overrated actor! His expressions and voice modulation are irritating as hell. Even Haidar was so mediocre.
Faltu movie, I came for Raghav but was very disappointed, faltu ka love story daal dia.

I hope Sidhant Chaturvedi gets better roles ahead. He is a good talent ! He should experiment more and get his pr active. We shouldnt judge him by one or two films. Everybody has good and bad time.

Why makers spending this much?
The problem is that the Yuddhra makers had no idea Raghav will be so popular after Kill and Gyarah Gyarah , They focused on Sidhant but RJ was out of syllabus, film makers calculations did not match, late attempt to promote Raghav was a survival attempt and lastly in the film there is not much content of RJ which audience wanted to see , and overall failed. It is entirely a RJ factor. Talent ki kami nahi thi ...Raghav Juyal ki kami thi.
I feel that the south indian market is much better with focus of younger actors for next generation....i see dhruv vikram to be a huge star after his performance in mahaan and his upcoming venture (mari selvaraj's bison). An outsider, vishwak sen too, he is a brilliant actor and his movies are a breeze to watch and he can make it big in telugu movie industry. Naga chaitanya with his venture of dhoota was brilliant and his next thandel is exciting too. To top this all off a outsider with a pan indian movie which was a awesome superhero film...teja sajja...with hanuman. Teja also has his next big movie...mirai..and the teaser seems very exciting... I am most hopeful for dhruv vikram...absolutely loved him in mahaan as a antagonist
Naga chaitanya can never became a superstar... his time is up .. but can't say about dhruv vikram as their would be huge blank space in tamil after Rajni, kamal and vijay retires
@@sayandas3939Dhruv Vikram have shown some versatility like his father early into his career. If he able to continue making good choices and focus on playing different roles he will turn out to be one of the best actors. Time will tell, but after watching his movies I can say Dhruv is versatile and have bright future. I just hope he escape the shadow of his dad and create his own image.

This movie was announced in February 2021 and scheduled for release in summer 2022 if you watch announcement poster, but after announcement it disappeared and after 3 years its cast appeared on amazon prime 2024 line up event and after that silently scheduled for release on 20 September 2024, i think makers were also not confident about this project, i think so
I think it is better for ott platform because when it was announced in Feb 2021, box office dynamics were pre COVID and we have seen how 2022 flops changed the dynamics of Bollywood after COVID , so it's better for an ott release like Visfot

Sidhant and Vijay verma , both got famous after gully boy. Sidhant got more fame than Vijay because of a bigger role. Vijay went on to do more character based roles in a lot of webseries and gained a lot of popularity slowly but steadily . But Sidhant sadly dint even feature in inside edge 3 ( don't know why ) and then had a long break after guly boy before bunty and babli came and was a disaster . Again Gehraiyan was a disaster . Even phone booth and kho gaye hum kahan came and went and no one even noticed . and now Vijay verma is defo more popular and well known than sidhant

Grounded middle class general boy who knows how to act (hope so ) with a descent look and wanna see some exciting storylines coming into the picture like a film about Wellesley brothers vs the maratha empire . A film on what if Russia invaded India, Indradev and suryadev rivalry etc etc . Excited??
in the new normal era watching a movie has changed i mostly go in for movies like jawan and goat on the 1st day because some how they give us the feeling of not missing on the big screen which most movies don't promise like the upcoming KGF 3 for example you know it is going to an crazy ride and its even more fun in theaters than OTT

Siddharth Chaturvedi doesn't have the Star appeal. Anyone can see that. He cant carry a film on his own.
If he had been cast in Kill, it would definitely have flopped.
I feel there was a time when Excel Entertainment was producing good stuff but then they have also entered the wagon of producing shit movies and buy actors on contract. One such example here is Siddhant Chaturvedi where he is not able to say NO to Excel Entertainment.
He is surely going to see a downfall something similar to what happened to Siddharth Malhotra with Karan Johan's banner and Parineeti Chopra with YRF banner. I really hope the actors are given actually the choice whether to act or not in a movie.
That's it. Siddhant Chaturvedi ka ab career barbad ho gaya. Gully Boy and Inside Edge Season 1 ke baad saare projects inke mujhe bahut achche nahin lage. Same goes with Rohit Saraf. Gave good impressions with Ludo, Mismatched but fell flat later on and Ishq Vishk Rebound was FORGETTABLE. 😒😒😪😪

Editing could have made the movie much better,I just came out of the theatre.A 30 min trim would have made it a good movie.The frames were good,Action was good,Music was good....Scissors would have made this a decent action flick

Yep i also have same problem with Bollywood movies due abrupt change of scenery like one minute he is fighting next minute he is dancing or romancing 😂 that's why i don't watch much of Bollywood but in July i saw kill and i loved it as it was different from other Bollywood movies it had no dancing no item song and only songs it had were played in the background of the movie not too much invested in love story btw i liked love story in kill it was short and sweet and rest of the movie was full on action why am i saying about kill because yudhra tried to compete and beat kill and failed miserably yudhra went for action and turned into action romance

Kill was a flop movie and a bit overrated as well.
I dont think outsiders have the same level of choice we think. Acting is a job and it is based on brand exposure. Its a catch 22. The real problem is the lack of capable writers and screenplay writers to compliment the few chances an outsider will have. This is why other industries are more fortunate in that at least there is screenplay writers and great DoPs even with run-of-the-mill stories.
Siddhant is highly overrated…he was good in Gully boy but completely flat in all his other movies

i feel like the problem with actors, both male and female, in the 20-30 age category today is that they are all so generic, they look so cookie cutter, they all look the same, do the same kind of roles. you could easily swap one out for the other and nothing would change and that's why they cannot achieve stardom. they have been crafted through focus groups in board rooms. whereas in the era of srk etc. and even after each "star" had their own usp. if i replace juhi chawla with kajol and vice vers the performance and character would totally change. amir khan would play don completely differently.

I maybe in a small minority but I personally never saw anything special in Siddhant apart from his earnest performance in Gully Boy. His lack of charisma got further exposed for me when he was paired with Ishaan Khatter in the entertaining phone booth. In my opinion he never deserved that level of push post Gully Boy and actors like Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Verma, Ishaan Khatter are far ahead in terms of craft and charisma.
