    Welcome to the ‘Fit with Ryan Adams’ UA-cam channel where I share tips for vegans and plant-based dieters who want to lose weight, get fit and stay healthy for life.
    Since 2020, I’ve coached 400+ clients through my Slim & Sustain Program. Over 60% of those clients lost at least 20 pounds in their 12 weeks on the program.
    On this channel, I will share the tips I’m using to help my clients get results and the biggest lessons from my personal journey - going from a 40-pounds overweight “gym bro” who was hooked on junk food, to getting in my best shape ever thanks to a plant-based diet and a massive shift in my mindset.
    So, welcome to the ‘Fit with Ryan Adams’ channel. I look forward to hearing about your progress!

    Try Ezekiel bread 4:9. It's made with sprouted grains, sprouted lentils and sprouted soybeans.

    Hi, great video, thanks. But 2 Qs: why only 2lt of water a day? Plus it would be great if you could explain the portions a bit more. Like a portion of veggies cooked but little bit oil has a lot less calories than a portion of grain etc.. l love it you give brand names for the UK! What snacks/food would you recommend when out and about for the most of the day? Thanks ❤❤

      Make it a rule that you must have a tall glass BEFORE every meal and you'll be well on your way. You can also find apps that send you reminders to drink

    The only downside to a plant based (vegan) diet is that a lot of people end up with kidney stones due to the high amount of oxalates.

    • @tylerreynolds8832
      @tylerreynolds8832 Рік тому +2

      That can definitely happen, but as long as you’re not consuming the same things all the time (almond milk for example), it’s very easily preventable.

    • @fitwithryanadams
      @fitwithryanadams  Рік тому +3

      It depends on composition of your diet, but you're not wrong. Easily avoided though

      Generally people on a plant based diet are less likely to get kidney stones. But yes, if they're overdoing things like spinach, beet greens, or chard, then oxalates can be excessive leading to kidney problems. But it's not just oxalates that are a problem. Inadequate calcium intake can contribute to oxalate stone formation as can inadequate fluid intake. Uric acid stones and cysteine stones have different causes.
