Thanks for the Tag Meg! I'm a bit behind with tags but this one is really fun! I am not familiar with John Dickson Carr, but will check him out, you got me intrigued.
Meg: the beer keep it classy was great! You go girl! 😂 I appreciate the tag, i have done this one earlier last year i believe! Please think about me on the next one however!
Great video, Meg - yes, this is a fun tag, & I love your far-ranging discussion & enthusiasm. I think there are just lots of different types of 'intellect', & we are all gifted (& lacking) in different areas - interesting to think about though, isn't it?
Great answers! You are braver than me - I was asked the same question in church this morning and answered 'Proust' (starting tomorrow) rather than 'Sweet Valley High 84: The Stolen Diary' (reading literally now.) I have some John Dickson Carr waiting to be read. Love the dinner party - would you let them smoke?
Love your character dinner! That would make for a fascinating meal. I recently read Moonraker and Bond is so much more real and complicated that the movie version. For anyone who hasn't read it, it's a cracking story (totaly different than the movie). I don't think being unable to read certain authors/books makes someone less intelligent. I think a lot of times it's word flow. Different brains have/need different word flows. Add to that we all need different kinds of stories. It's complicated. I can enjoy Shakespeare's sonnets (I think he was a genius), but I struggle to read or watch his plays. My brain fills with whitenoise and I end up daydreaming. C'est la vie! :)
Nothing like a little post church meeting beer to take the edge off! Right now I’m reading War time book club by Kate Thompson. I’m really enjoying it. It actually gets better as it goes along! I had to laugh, when you mentioned the desert island reads right away I thought of my 50s Pam and Penny series! I sort of think those could count for one long book! And the descriptions of the fifties fashions are just fabulous ❤ those and GWTW would be on my list. Only books that have passed the read it multiple times and still enjoyed it test. I love these tags! Have a great week 😊
I like your jelly jar! Here in Colorado, we proudly drink ours right out the can that bears the image of our beloved Rockies 🏔️☺️
The jelly jar is wonderful! Great questions and answers. Thank you so much for the tag!
You're very welcome!

I will definitely keep you in mind for the next one! 😂
Thanks for the tag, Meg. I have just recorded a tag you tagged me with last December! Lol. It will be out in a week or two. On to this one!
That's so exciting! I can't wait to see it!

Absolutely I would!
Hi Meg. I enjoyed your responses to this tag. Thanks so much for tagging me. I did this one back in the summer, but thanks for thinking of me. 🥰
You are very welcome! 🥰

Making notes on Oklahoma Classy ... where are those empty jam jars?
Yes, Ma’am!🤠
Oh I thought you asked something else! You just eat yer jelly and save your jar! Extra classy points if you leave on the label, as you noticed I do😂
