- Doomsday has always been a fan favorite track and the version that plays in the episode is a bit different to the version released on the soundtrack. I have isolated and cleaned it up myself and this seems to be the cleanest version out there. It's a tiny bit muffled in a few places so it's not absolutely perfect but it is still acceptable to listen to and enjoy.

Aww, excellent work! ♥ It always bothered me a bit that the version in the show was different from the one on the soundtrack.
Why can't they fucking release the music the way it was on the series? They did the same thing with the Christmas song and Chris' regeneration and pre regen WHO Doctor music.
For album releases, they think it's better when mixed differently sometimes, rather than releasing every single cue. Series 1 especially, being all synthesised, I see why they re-did it.
@@yannatoko9898 Actually i heard there were no plans for a soundtrack after Series 1 came out and any music created for that was lost. When the first soundtrack came out they had to re-create the bits from S1.

@@The0thDoctorI know that Series 1’s music does still exist. Mark Ayres, the sound restorationist & Classic Who composer, managed to get it & was going to release portions of it on The 50th Anniversary Soundtrack Collection on it’s 9th Disk. Murray Gold however vetoed it last second which meant all Modern Era music on that compilation album is already released material. The people who do the DVD/Blu-Ray releases must also have access to it as that is how they make 5:1 audio mixes for those releases. The Series 1 Blu-Ray releases recently suffer from music being too loud because someone mucked it up on the 5:1 audio mixes

If you’re down to share I’d love to know your process, is it just isolating frequencies or is it something more fancy?
I only have intermediate knowledge in audio isolation so I’m always curious to learn more : )

i used to like rose when i watched it the first few times but as i got older I thought she was quite annoying, sorry any fans of rose but to me she just felt really annoying and Im more of a donna fan than any other companion she was the best it was sad to see her go 😭

It's still sad though
I like Rose the best for her humanity and compassion. I also like Donna though.
